Join us on this eight-hour tour of Udaipur and discover the rich history and architectural glory of this city of Rajputs. Your English-speaking driver will pick you up from your hotel or location in Udaipur and drive you to Udaipur City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Maharana Udai Singh started building this palace in 1559 AD. However it was completed only in the 18th century by his successors.
The palace is situated on the banks of Lake Pichola, a beautiful, artificial, manmade lake that was dug in 1362 AD and named after the nearby Picholi Village. Even now, part of the property is still owned by the present king of Udaipur while the rest has been converted into hotels and museums.
The museums inside this palace also display the wardrobe and weapons used by past rulers and gives you the chance to learn more about the regal lifestyle of the rulers of Udaipur. We will then head for the famous Shree Jagdish Temple, a three-story, 79-feet-high temple built by Maharana Jagat Singhji in 1651 AD. This temple is still owned and managed by the royal family of Udaipur. Every year, thousands of devotees come to worship in this temple.
Travel to Dudh Talai, located on the banks of Lake Pichola, near the City Palace next. Enjoy beautiful views of Lake Pichola, Jagmandir Island Palace and Udaivilas as well as the gorgeous Aravalli range and Udiapur's old city. Walk around the lake and see various species of birds. You might also want to relax in the lush green garden near the lake before it's time to drive back to your hotel.
Please note that entrance fees to monuments is not included in the tour price.

Shahjahanabad, known as Purani Dilli, was a city established by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan in 1648. It was considered a gem of the empire and continues to be the heart of the Capital as well. The average middle class urban Delhi resident has acquired a global palate and is familiar with a range of cuisines from across the world. Yet, notwithstanding the profusion of European, Asian, American and Mediterranean food options, locals keep returning to Old Delhi aka Purani Dilli for their fill of soul-satisfying food. Authentic Old Delhi food is best enjoyed in its original setting, in the noisy labyrinthine by-lanes of Chawri Bazaar and Chandni Chowk and Jama Masjid, where a golden Gurudwara share space with historic mosques.
This Agra Tour takes you to some of the most wonderful heritage sites and landmarks in Agra, Taj mahal, being the highlight of this trip.
Basking in the presence of the glorified tomb that is Taj, the city of Agra seems to have got washed with sheer resplendent white. Taj Mahal, the irrevocable symbol of undying love, ironically is a tomb below which lie the mortal remains of Mughal emperors Shah Jahan and his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.
One of the most talked-about wonders of the world, Taj Mahal happens to be the ultimate love epitaph that a man could have scripted for his ladylove. So what if the man in question happened to be the infallible emperor of the medieval era?
Love, they say, makes no demarcation between the poor and the rich!
Taj aside, Agra is also the host to vintage bazaars and a few other heritage sites scattered here and there. The crimson Agra Fort offers another shade to the city’s kaleidoscope while the melancholic Yamuna flows by pensively.
Refer to the itinerary to find out what you will be doing on this 2 day trip.
Old Delhi food walk is a fun way to experience the cuisine and sights of the city as you walk through lively streets and centuries old markets. This food walk allows you to indulge your taste buds with the best street food dishes from the city's oldest and most famous food joints. During this food walk, you will visit 6 to 8 or may be more, food joints, which have been doing their business in the same place for decades. Few of them are more than 100 years old !
During this food walk, a guest can taste 12 to 16 different dishes or more. These include different type of chaats, kulfi, parantha, lassi, and many others. All the food items are safe to eat and food served can be modified to suit different people's preferences.

From capital to capital, this 15-day adventure through India will take you from the energetic hub of Delhi to the spiritual centre of Kathmandu. Start your journey with the big-ticket sites of the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Old Delhi, then slow down as you move through rural India for a starry night on the bank of the River Ganges. Visit the birthplace of Buddha, enjoy the hospitality of a Thar community homestay, look for the rare Indian rhino at Chitwan National Park and learn recipes from a family in Orchha – this trip is a true look at life in northern South Asia.
