    More than a simple trip, our fifteen days in Nepal and Tibet were an unforgettable experience and a wonderful discovery. A very big thank you goes to this local tour operator and its Managing Director, Mr. Kaum Bahadur Subedi, who provided us with expert drivers (absolutely essential on the roads of Nepal) and guides with great expertise and experience. I want to especially mention Rem Raj Gurung who introduced us to the wonderful temples of Kathmandu, now all restored after the 2015 earthquake. A very useful exercise for me also who had visited those temples in the past. Even more exciting was traveling across the Tibetan plateau. We entered from the border with Nepal - which in itself is an adventure - and we traveled the long way that leads to Lasha, crossing a powerful and unforgettable landscape. Along the plateau we had the Himalayas on the right with its snowy peaks (we also went to admire the north face of Everest with a half-day detour) and on the left another long chain of mountains that outlined a landscape that is hard to find the words to describe. And then the unforgettable discovery for me, thanks to the guide that Mr Kaum made available to us for Tibet, a profound expert on the religiosity of the Tibetans. The discovery of a people who still live in a deep connection with their past and traditions: in religion, in clothing, in language. But I also found a genuine willingness towards foreigners. And we were among the few Westerners to visit the country. We also have a beautiful memory of Lasha, a modern city that lives with a past whose strength still seems very alive.

    Absolutely loved this tour! I especially appreciate Tour Guide Tenzin for his in-depth knowledge and thorough explanations during our visits to the monasteries and the Potala Palace. As a native Tibetan and a practicing Buddhist, his background significantly enriched our conversations and gave me the deeper understanding I was hoping to gain from this trip. His discretion, patience, and enthusiasm were truly outstanding and made the experience even more meaningful. Walking through Jokhang Temple and seeing pilgrims praying was deeply moving. I felt immersed in Tibetan culture from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Lhasa.

    My husband, Dr George Thomas & I have just completed a tour of a few cities in your beautiful country from 15th June to 22nd June. I wished to give you feedback regarding the trip from it's planning to its implementation. 1) Nick Cheng was a pleasure to deal with: Prompt, courteous and so approachable. I called him up many times, sometimes even beyond his official hours, but he was always available for me. I'm impressed by his professionalism, and his customized planning of an excellent holiday where I could enjoy the beauty, as well as, the culture of your great country. I grade him 10/10, a marvelous performance indeed! 2) All three guides, Simon, Susan and Anna were very good representatives of your country & its culture. They were informative without being pushy, respected time, allowed us to enjoy the sights and doubled up as friends & photographers when needed! I have fallen in love with your country because I saw many Chinese people were happy and comfortable with the lives they lead. One week in China was an eye opening experience.     This tour was great - included the two things we really wanted to see (the terracotta army and the Hanyangling Museum) and we also got a great lunch and a visit to a local farmer's "cave house" which was an interesting insight into how people live outside the big cities. Michael is a great guide, he speaks very good English and is very knowledgeable about the history and background of the archeological sites. The car was very comfortable with a good driver and plenty of water available. All in all an excellent tour, I highly recommend this if you're visiting Xi'an - you'll have a great time!
