Ganesh from the local operator organized a Gokyo-EBC Trek for me. As I was trekking alone, I could change my program anytime. I could count on him all the time, so I managed to make a great trek (my 9th in Nepal!). I recently completed the Manaslu & Tsum Valley trek, and it’s safe to say it was one of the most rewarding and culturally rich experiences I’ve had in the Himalayas.
From the start, the communication with the company was clear, prompt, and reassuring. They helped tailor the itinerary slightly to suit my pace and interests, and everything from permits to logistics was handled smoothly—which is no small feat in such a remote region.
Our guide, was fantastic—not only knowledgeable about the trails, villages, and cultural nuances, but also genuinely caring and adaptable. He struck the perfect balance between giving us space to take in the environment and stepping in when needed (especially during the tougher parts of the trail).
The trek itself is stunning but not for the faint-hearted. Compared to more well-known routes like Annapurna or Everest, this one feels wilder and less developed, which was exactly what I was looking for. The trails wind through deep gorges, suspension bridges, serene monasteries, and small villages that still feel untouched by mass tourism. Tsum Valley in particular felt incredibly special—like stepping into another world, with its Tibetan-influenced culture and timeless pace of life.
Accommodation was understandably basic in many places, but my guide chose the best available tea houses and kept me and the others well-fed and comfortable. Even during the colder nights at higher altitudes, we always felt looked after.
Overall, this trek was physically demanding, culturally immersive, and emotionally grounding. It’s not your typical tourist trail, and that’s exactly why I’d recommend it—and especially go with a reputable company —to anyone seeking a more authentic Himalayan adventure. In a safe way!

This 18-day, guided trip will take you to the top of Mera Peak (6,461 m), one of the most sought-after trekking peaks in Nepal. All accommodations in Kathmandu and in teahouses are on a twin-shared basis.
We can request for a single room in Kathmandu and during the trek (wherever possible) at an additional single supplement fee of USD 350 per person. However, single supplement during the trek will not be possible everyday since there are several teahouses along the trekking route that do not allow single room accommodation. At most, you will get single rooms only in lower-elevation areas.

The Annapurna View Trek is a beautiful tour that takes you through several scenic and peaceful mountain villages, each offers stunning views of the mountains and surrounding areas. Most of the trek has a very well maintained path or stairs, some parts are a bit steep and difficult, especially the uphill sections require a good level of fitness. Overall a 10/10 short tour that takes you through a really stunning part of the country.
My group and I had an amazing time on our ABC trek! Our guide Jwala, was so nice and helpful. Shree, the owner, was also such an amazing person. The whole Base Camp team did everything right.

"We had this great trek Makalu Base Camp trek with me and my husband here in Nepal, we joined with the group during this trek as i found this trekking region very different and unique than the other trekking regions here in Nepal as it provided the best views of Himalaya's, Mountains, flora and fauna,local people culture and their daily live hood. We had an amazing time with Pasang Sherpa, our trip leader, who has a wealth of knowledge about the Manaslu Tibetan settlement in the hidden kingdom of Nepal. The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a challenging and rewarding journey around the world's eighth highest mountain, Manaslu. It offers breathtaking views of Himalayan peaks, diverse landscapes, rich culture, and wildlife. The trek usually takes 11 to 14 days and requires a special permit. The highest point is Larkya La Pass, which stands at 5,106 meters. The best time to embark on this trek is during spring and autumn, when temperatures are moderate, the skies are clear, and there is less rainfall. The winter and monsoon seasons present more challenges and risks.
I highly recommend this local tour operator! We took 18 days trek to Everest Base Camp and 3 High Passes in November and the experience was just amazing. We had everything professionally organized by Chris: transportation (including flight to Lukla), food and lodging, permits, you name it... The contact with the company was always quick and easy, Chris was super helpful and everything went smoothly. We were even provided with really good and warm sleeping bags and jackets! Our guide Lakpa was really experienced and knowledgeable, he showed us some of the most incredible places we've ever seen, helped us through all the though parts of the trail and was always there to answer questions and offer advice.
