Wow ! what a week I have just had in Israel on the Biblical Trip. I travelled on my own and joined a group of 11 others who were all lovely and we soon become one big family. Out guide Hilick from Rent a Guide was brilliant, so informative on the history and politics of his country. On this trip I went to places I would not of gone to independently. I had a great time on this trek and Raj was an incredible guide with great communication throughout. His hospitality, and flexibility were incredibly welcomed and the trek was fairly challenging for one of the more 'moderate' hikes. Loved the experience and could not be happier!
The Trek was excellent - the scenery was fantastic with the clear weather in mid-October. The trekking was sometimes challenging, but never too hard for fairly fit "almost-60-year-olds". The views of Everest and its surrounding peaks, especially from Tengboche Monastery, were fantastic. If you don't feel the need, or have the time, to go all the way to Everest Base Camp, this is the trek to take!
