We have joined a group tour organized by this local travel specialist for Dagala Thousand Lakes trip in 2019. It was one of the most scenic treks that I have ever been to. All along the way you will be greeted by towering Himalayas like Mountain Jumolhari, Kanchenjunga, Tsheringma and on occasion you may see Mount Everest as well. I took this trek on end of May when the wild flower was in bloom. The trek also gives you a glimpse of many glacial lakes. We had a wonderful trekking experience with the agency. Thank you. This is a fabulous trek for those looking for a less traveled path. We really enjoyed passing through all the villages and meeting the locals (and donkeys, yaks goats etc) along the way. Very friendly people, we took a large bag of chocolates to hand out to kids which we would recommend. Beautiful scenery, fascinating villages and challenging hiking at times made for an excellent experience that will stay with us. We went in early March, weather was great but some groups were turned back at the pass due to snow. Helps to have some extra days in case weather is bad. Not for beginners or those not in reasonable shape. Enjoyed the quietness of the route (early season). Tsum Valley a definite highlight, would absolutely recommend adding this to Manaslu Circuit or on its own.
