The trip was different to the tours I have used before in that the majority of fellow travellers were Spanish speaking and different people joined and left the group on different days. I have only used English speaking tour companies in the past with the same group of travellers from beginning to end. Also there were no optional excursions, welcome meeting, farewell dinner or group photo which is customary with most tour companies. The attraction of Europamundo, however, was its competitive pricing and variety of itineraries. For 2 days of my 4 day tour there were other English speakers (maximum 5) but I was the only one on the last 2 days of my tour which was a strange experience for me and not something I would have been happy about for more than a couple of days. Having said all of that though, my fellow travellers were friendly and I was able to communicate with them in my broken Spanish with a couple of them speaking some English. The positives about this tour were the value for money, the itinerary which was extensive, packing in a lot and the guides. The English speakers were provided with a separate tour guide which was great as our group was so small and eventually just me! The guide in Seoul, Symon Park was excellent and very helpful with tips and advice. He gave us (the English speakers) his number and told us to get in touch with him even for advice even after he left the tour in Seoul. My guide So He who joined in Busan and was with us for the rest of the trip was also very knowledgeable. I learnt a lot about Korean history and details about all the sites we visited from her.
The tour was phenomenal.

Used these guys through TUI for a 2 day safari tour from Waikkal, traveled to Udawalawe elephant transit home and on to Yala for an afternoon game drive followed by Udawalawe national park game drive on the day 2, my guide Sihan was fabulous and went out of his way to make sure my experience was everything I wanted, I had an amazing 2 day safari trip. Blissful Sri Lanka with Exceptional service. Sri Lanka with its endless beaches, oodles of elephants and flavourful food makes this beautiful country irresistible. My husband and I were extremely fortunate to spend 7 days in Sri Lanka, made fabulous with all the tour guides and arrangements made by Aitkin Spence. The itinerary, service, and attention to detail was nothing but exceptional! All tour guides were extremely knowledgeable always willing to answer any questions we had on all sorts of topics and also pointing out interesting things to see and sharing their wealth of knowledge on Sri Lanka. Both my husband and I had a few last minute changes to the itinerary and Aitken Spence staff were always happy to ensure our trip was memorable, always going above and beyond. Hotel stays and choices of restaurants for food were breathtakingly beautiful and we could no way have found them ourselves. We were accommodated for as a couple and our tour ended with a private elephant ride in the sunset and a romantic private dinner at a beautiful hotel amongst the tropical beauty of Sri Lanka. A special commendation to Nihaal for greeting us at the airport and showing us the hustle and bustle of Colombo, Malikante for warmly meeting us at our hotel to run through the itinerary and making us feel very welcome to Sri Lanka, and Deepthi for giving us memorable experiences with elephants (our favourites), this really made the trip .
