Chitwan National Park is one of the most popular wildlife safari destinations in Nepal. Located in the plains of the Terai in the southern part of the country, this national park is known for its abundance of wild animals, including some endangered species such as one-horned rhinos and royal Bengal tigers.
Join us on this 3-day trip to the national park and get to enjoy the best of Nepal's rich biodiversity. The national park came into existence in 1973. In 1984, UNESCO designated it a world heritage site. This wildlife reserve is home to 56 species of mammals, including endangered one-horned rhinos and royal Bengal tigers, 543 species of birds, 126 species of fish, 590 species of butterflies and 47 species of reptiles.
You will take a comfortable tourist bus from Kathmandu to Chitwan on the first day of the trip. The next two days, you will be occupied in jungle safaris, nature walks, bird watching, local boat rides, and a traditional performance by the Tharus, an ethnic group indigenous to the southern plains of the country.

My friend and I had an absolutely incredible time on the Chisapani Nagarkot 3-day hike with this local travel specialist. It was the highlight of our 2 week trip to India and Nepal. (We are two women in our 30s from the US.) Everyone at this agency is lovely and they always answered my questions quickly and professionally. Madan and Kumar were wonderful, friendly, and informative as our guide and porter. We went in early September 2023, and I was worried that it would be too wet and rainy at that time of year, but it wasn't an issue (I do recommend wearing waterproof hiking boots though). The nature was incredible and the views were spectacular (that’s an understatement!). We were tired after each day of hiking and the tea houses were perfect places to appreciate the view and rest after each day. Highly recommended!
An excellent tour of Nepal. Trekking through the jungle was a great experience and views of the mountains - simply amazing! I was very impressed with the guides. They were gracious, knowledgeable and pleasure to trek with!!! I had a fantastic trekking trip to the Island Peak, organized by the local operator. The hotels were good and the guide became a close friend of mine. Additionally they were able to change the date of the flight-out of Lukla without any problems.
