The best part was at Petra: first by night and then "round the back from above".. but other highlights included sleeping under the stars, sunrise and sunset in the desert, just missing a sandstorm and ripping my shorts climbing down a steep rocky cliff. It was a taxing walk but really enjoyable and everyone was very pleasant.
From the moment I contacted the tour operator, I felt at ease. Their staff responded promptly, demonstrating deep knowledge and genuine passion for every historical site. Our itinerary included Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea and more—each destination exceeded my expectations. The guide was engaging, patient, and fluent in both English and Arabic; they shared stories of ancient Nabateans, Ottoman heritage, and Bedouin tradition in a way that made me feel connected, not just like a tourist. Accommodations were comfortable, clean, and well‑chosen; meals were authentic Jordanian cuisine, often family‑run restaurants with warm hospitality. Transportation was safe and comfortable, with thoughtful rest stops. The pace was balanced—neither rushed nor sluggish—allowing moments to reflect, take photos, or simply breathe in the beauty. I appreciated their flexibility too: a detour to a local market was welcomed, even though not in the original plan. Overall, the tour operator provided a trip that felt personal, insightful, and deeply moving. I returned home with richer understanding, many fond memories, and a desire to return someday.

The hikes helped us feel grounded in the spectacular landscapes we visited and gave us some precious opportunities to meet local people. This trip exceeded all expectations and guidebook descriptions. Petra, Wadi Rum, Mount Neto and Jerash are all very different, and each is fantastic and beautiful in its own way. The Jordanian people are friendly, gentle and helpful. Camping in the dessert and watching the night sky was a highlight. The day are busy but not so full that you can't enjoy yourself. I flew home wanting to go back again next week. I loved this trip. Our guide Saleh was brilliant and told us wonderful stories about the history, culture and facts of each place we visited. He was our Jordan Dad, buying us little treats such as meejol dates and mint tea. Saleh also shared tales from his own life to give us a deeper insight into living and working in Jordan.

My friend and I had a fantastic time on our trip. We were met by someone who helped us get the necessary paperwork, traveled to Wadi rum (we slept), stopped at a nice shop where we purchased beautiful scarves, and departed with our Wadi Rum local guide! Our guide was awesome, know all of the best spots to visit and photo spots as well! He was kind and attentive as I got sick at the beginning of our journey. We enjoyed staying at Sun Camp - the staff was so kind to us and generous in their efforts. We were fasting and they prepared food for us that night so we wouldn't be hungry. Our driver drove us to Petra (we slept), checked in to the hotel, and thoroughly enjoyed our guide who was also a local! We definitely benefited from his knowledge and connections! We enjoyed dinner in a cave and the following day our driver made arrangements for us to add an additional stop (for a cost). We were blessed to visit Jesus' baptism site before enjoying the amazing Dead Sea!
