The Manaslu Circuit Trek is perfect for everyone who is looking for a variety of landscapes. You can find snowy mountains, alpine treks, hanging bridges, wild rivers and rhododendron forests on this route. We loved it and the trek as well as getting to know the Nepali culture by staying in the tea houses and getting the culture explained by our guide Ashok was unforgettable. Thank you to Ashok for the last 2 weeks for supporting and guiding us during this trek. You have became a great friend. Also many thanks to the tour operator for organizing everything and helping with every question! After arriving in Nepal we decided spontaneously to do the Manaslu Trek instead of the Annapurna Trek and this company made it possible to change everything and to provide us with a new program. Our trip to Gokyo Lakes and the Renjo La Pass was amazing!
Anand, our lead guide was great - always looking out for everyone to make sure each person was doing ok and enjoyed their experience. The rest of the staff - the cooks, porters and other guides, all helped ensure we had a great time.
The food was something else - it was amazing to see just what could be made each day.
This was our first trip with World Expeditions, but I certainly hope it won't be our last!

A big thank to our guide Samda and the team (especially Ram who fed us well) and provided us with an excellent cultural and trekking experience. Samda's knowledge of Tibetan culture and the history of the monasteries provided a complete background to the history and culture of Mustang and its relationship to Tibet. Being present for the three crowded days festival was special and a complete juxtaposition to the following days trek through the stark and beautiful landscape of Mustang. We were treated to vistas of the distant snow capped mountains, alpine flowers up high, sheep and goat herders and even managed to find fossils left behind in the ancient raised seabeds pushed up with the Himalaya range. I recently completed the Manaslu & Tsum Valley trek, and it’s safe to say it was one of the most rewarding and culturally rich experiences I’ve had in the Himalayas.
From the start, the communication with the company was clear, prompt, and reassuring. They helped tailor the itinerary slightly to suit my pace and interests, and everything from permits to logistics was handled smoothly—which is no small feat in such a remote region.
Our guide, was fantastic—not only knowledgeable about the trails, villages, and cultural nuances, but also genuinely caring and adaptable. He struck the perfect balance between giving us space to take in the environment and stepping in when needed (especially during the tougher parts of the trail).
The trek itself is stunning but not for the faint-hearted. Compared to more well-known routes like Annapurna or Everest, this one feels wilder and less developed, which was exactly what I was looking for. The trails wind through deep gorges, suspension bridges, serene monasteries, and small villages that still feel untouched by mass tourism. Tsum Valley in particular felt incredibly special—like stepping into another world, with its Tibetan-influenced culture and timeless pace of life.
Accommodation was understandably basic in many places, but my guide chose the best available tea houses and kept me and the others well-fed and comfortable. Even during the colder nights at higher altitudes, we always felt looked after.
Overall, this trek was physically demanding, culturally immersive, and emotionally grounding. It’s not your typical tourist trail, and that’s exactly why I’d recommend it—and especially go with a reputable company —to anyone seeking a more authentic Himalayan adventure. In a safe way!

This is an epic journey to one of Nepal’s most famous treks that will take you over some of the highest mountain passes in the world. We will be crossing three mountain passes between 5000m and 5535m. Magnificent landscapes, imposing and prestigious peaks, tapering ridges and colorful villages contribute to turning this trek into an unforgettable experience.
It is possible to walk this trek in either direction, but acclimatisation is easier if you travel from east to west per our itinerary. This means that from Lukla, the entrance point of the Everest region, we will hike to to Dingboche, then Chhukung, crossing the 5,535m Kongma La Pass (the hardest of the 3 passes) to Lobuche. From Lobuche we will trek to Everest Base Camp, Kala Patthar, crossing the 5,420m Cho La Pass to Gokyo, and finally from Gokyo hike over the 5,345m Renjo La Pass down to Thame, Namche Bazar and finally reach back Lukla, from where we will fly back. This trek offers so many stunning views and great experiences; undoubtedly giving you many fond memories. It will be a circuit trek meaning that you will not have to walk on the same trek up and down.
This trek is rather hard, but people in a reasonably fit shape can do it. If you are in doubt as to your physical ability we recommend adding a porter (you can book such via check-out on this site).

The Everest High Passes trek leads to the three difficult, high passes of the stunning Everest region: Kongma La at 5535m, Cho La at 5420m and Renjo La at 5340m. Trekkers will also reach Everest Base Camp, Kalapather, Gokyo valley and several beautiful mountain lakes. Explore the beautiful and untouched Sherpa valley Nangpa La, the monastery village of Thame and witness glorious views of the surrounding peaks. We start our trip with an adventurous flight to Tenzing Hillary airport at Lukla followed by a trek along the classic route through Sagarmatha National Park to the mighty Dudhkoshi river, and past beautiful landscapes, chortens and monasteries. We make our way to the Everest Base Camp after reaching the summit of Kongma La.
After visiting Everest base camp and climbing to the highest point, Kalapatthar 5,545m, the trail leads over Cho-la pass 5,386m to reach a scenic Gokyo Lake and the valley with a tremendous panorama viewpoint.
