San Pedro de Colalao, summer villa par excellence, is framed by the Tipas and Tacanas rivers and has countless attractions to wait for tourists.
It is possible to find archaeological sites corresponding to the Ayampitin, Ampajango and Candelaria culture. The central square Leocadio Paz, is surrounded by old houses of the late nineteenth century. Its old grove of "tipa" tree and seasonal flowers along with the church of San Pedro, the Museum-Library and the commune, among other buildings stand out in the surroundings.
