Allow yourself to acclimatize for a day. Take a trip to the Sacred Valley which, along with Cusco and Machu Picchu, was a major centre of the Inca Empire.
Take the Vistadome train and travel to Machu Picchu. Enjoy beautiful sceneries along the way. Drive to the salt mines of Maras, which has produced salt since the time of the Incas.
