FIrst I must say, somewhere on your website it should be EASY to find what the excursions were for the trip and the amount they cost before booking a trip. We only learned of these when we received our travel documents and by then the trip was paid for and we didn't know that we were going to need to spend an additional $600 for any added excursions. This is VERY misleading to the customer who is budging for their trip. Technically this isn't a 10 day trip. You don't begin your itinerary until 5 PM on day one and end it early morning on day 10. So technically, it is an 8.5 day trip. The itinerary was good for less than 3 days at each location. However, the pace was not an "easy pace" the first days. It required loading a bus at 7:30 and going until 8:30 pm if you chose the options for the day. Somewhere this should be noted and suggested to travelers that arriving by plane at least one day earlier should be recommended. The tour was provided by Mitza. He was an excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge. The travel from Florence to Venice should omit the trip to a "farm" for lunch. We would have rather had more time in Venice on the day of arrival, even if we couldn't get into our hotel room at the Hilton. Which was fabulous. As far as hotels, the first hotel in Rome was terrible! The levator didn't work, the room we were placed in didn't have working air conditioning and we had to move rooms. Interesting that Mitza told us that the air conditioning in hotels in Italy didn't turn on per ordinance until May 1. That was not the case, because we ended up paying for a room upgrade in Rome and we had air conditioning. We also had air conditioning in Florence. The hotel in Florence was lovely, but the crowds at the neighboring bar made it impossible to sleep at night. The food on the excursion for dinner in Rome by Vatican City was terrible. Honestly, another place needs to be found. Being of Italian decent and knowing how good Italian food can be, this place, even know there was some entertainment, should be left off the tour. Hope this is helpful. We appreciate how Mitza was around all the time to answer questions and make suggestions for touring. The bus and driver was fabulus.

This trip includes a good variety of destinations, perhaps best for those who have not visited Italy before. The quality of accommodations and included experiences is excellent, and includes the high spots most first time visitors want.

We saw such different areas of Italy. All of them very different from the next. Also fun to taste the different types of food that were from the region we were in.

We saw a lot more beautiful places than expected. Our tour guide and driver were great and we couldn’t have asked for a nice group of people to travel and explore with.

An interesting and varied, although busy, itinerary. The hotels used are generally well-located, moderate in quality, but adequate. for the tour. Our guide Mehmet was very helpful, organised and speaks good English. He helped translate between English and Turkish whenever needed, and excelled at finding interesting and inexpensive local restaurants for lunch stops. We enjoyed the tour. The Explore trip notes for this tour provide a good description of it.

So much to see. Very busy days but all worth going to if you take in the optional excursions. Another day in Barcelona would be better either on your own or added to the tour.
