The tour was well organized. We enjoyed seeing all the different sights from the sheep herding dog to the castles. Our tour guide and driver were excellent, very informative and personable.

We had an AMAZING trip crossing three islands with our VERY knowledgeable tour director Andrew (also a resident of Hawaii) who was a big part of the tour's success for us. He added so much to the places we visited and we toured 3 islands with plenty to see and experience, plus time on our own. Highlights included the tour of a pineapple farming operation, a trip to the (active) volcano Kilauea, walking through a family-owned Kona coffee, snorkeling on a catamaran and Luau that will always be a standout highlight for this trip.

I would rate this a 10/10. Insight covered all the bases - professional guide, lovely coach, interesting itinerary, way too much food!, and all our fellow travellers were lovely. I don’t know how this tour could be any better.

Christina has a passion for Scotland and it comes through clearly in her presentations. She provided many anecdotes, language lessons and historical context. We enjoyed exploring Glasgow, Stirling Castle and walking up to Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh.

There were 22 in our group, 16 associated with a Sun City community and 6 who joined on their own. A very congenial group! Our tour manager, Elena Planas, was top of her class! So prepared each day with information on our stops/tours, all touched by her wonderful humor. She balanced each day with great finesse. Highlights were a dinner with Fado music in Lisbon - and eating pastiche de nata (or Belem...sooo good!); visiting a one-woman olive oil production in a small village in Spain (sooo impressive is she!); Salamanca; bullfighting museum; Douro Valley (stunning!); walking a small bit of the Camino (wonderful guide!) and sharing all of this with our dear friends. A wonderful trip. Shout out to Collette for helping with our return flight - we missed our connection back to the US. Not a problem with Collette!

This tour is definitely for walkers. It can be fast-paced and hectic but staying at nearly all hotels for 2 nights each was excellent to recharge. Our group age was on the older side, but we were a fit bunch. Hotel locations were accessible to Old Towns and historical sights. Location allowed us to walk to museums and attend an Opera. Accommodation varied from modern and comfortable to small and Soviet style, in keeping with that town's history. The bus was too small for our group of 13. We all understood the gravity of the fuel situation, but given that tall people needed a seat to themselves and sat sideways due to lack of legroom, or those at the back sat on seats over the wheels that were back breakers, a slightly larger bus would have been preferred-especially making it easier for our amazing driver to pack luggage like a jigsaw! The guide was funny, knowledgeable, and organised. I would be happy to tour with him as a guide again. Group dinners were organised to save time but became our major expense, being Euros, and did not have to happen so often. Overall, it was an amazing, fun trip.
