In late November 2025, four friends and I from India did the Marangu Route with Aardvark Expeditions, and it was a great experience every step of the way. In the weeks leading up to our climb, we exchanged many emails with the Aardvark Expeditions sales staff. Their quick responses and thorough explanations were what persuaded us to book with them. While climbing, our guide (Gabriel and Fred) were extremely professional. They adapted their pace to ours, provided encouraging words and advice to help us acclimatise, and made sure we were safe at all times. The food that Erik and Abuu prepared was another highlight. The meals were fresh, filling and served to us with a smile. Aardvark Expeditions made our first Kili attempt feel possible, secure and fun. Highly recommended!

Everything was smooth - hotels were clean and well-located, transportation was on time, and guide was professional and enthusiastic. I especially loved the overnight experience on cruise in Mekong Delta and Halong Bay. This tour was perfect for someone wants to explore but also have time to relax. A group of 4 climbers from India, along with 3 friends from the UK, completed an arduous climb via the 7-day Machame Route with Aardvark Expeditions, and they exceeded our every expectation along the way. The first impression we had of Aardvark Expeditions (Philemon Joel) was one of speed in responding to our requests, providing clear directions, and making truthful declarations about what to expect when we booked. Booking our climb was made easy due to the assistance provided by the sales team. During the actual climb, the guiding team of Bariki and Jonathan performed exceptionally well. They were vigilant in their monitoring of climbers, supported us when altitude sickness hit, and continuously provided motivation throughout our trek on the mountain. The summit day was incredibly emotional, and all Aardvark Expeditions staff were there at the summit to celebrate with us for achieving our goal. This is a company that genuinely cares about every person who climbs for them. A five-star rating does not do enough justice for the value provided by the staff at Aardvark Expeditions.

Our 6-day journey on the Marangu Route was handled by Aardvark Expeditions, and we couldn't have asked for better service! As a group of only five people from India, we received excellent personal service and attention from every member of the team. Our guides (Bariki and John) were very supportive, knowledgeable and patient, while the chefs (Erik and Abuu) created tasty meals that energised us every day for the long trek ahead. We were referred to Aardvark Expeditions by several friends, and now we understand why! The sales team is very prompt and friendly, and offers excellent service. The whole experience from booking to reaching the summit was flawless!

We were lucky to have amazing weather for our entire trip and everything was arranged to perfection. We were advised to upgrade to the chopper from Kathmandu which saved us 2 days due to weather at Lukla. Every day went smoothly with each lodge offering warm and friendly welcome. Our guide Darwa was knowledgeable and looked after us at all times. The Nepalese people were amazing to us at every turn. We will be going back.

I did a 7-day Kilimanjaro trek via the Rongai Route in December and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The landscapes along the Rongai Route were breathtaking, with beautiful and constantly changing scenery at every camp. It was one of the most memorable holidays I’ve ever had. It was less crowded so it felt like absolutely exclusive. The crew was outstanding: Bakari the mountain guide, Mojo created amazing food Mama Africa, and a hardworking, friendly team of porters who supported me all the way to the summit. Thanks to them, I successfully reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro and fulfilled a lifelong dream. Highly recommended!
