We got to actually explore the historical sites. The local guides were phenomenal. The restaurants they chose for us were awesome and the food sooo yummy. The cave restaurant in Rome is a must visit. They surprised us with live entertainment that was super. Everyone in our group loved it. Wouldn’t miss this tour. Actually, this was our second time taking it because we enjoyed it so much the first time.

Outstanding itinerary especially the out of the way cultural stops. The tour director was exceptional and related stories to complimented her vast knowledge of the history of both countries. This was a great trip. I was just surprised that many of the best activities had an additional cost adding over $500 per person to the cost of my trip. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my choices. As a 75 year old,, new to traveling, I would not have felt safe doing my own thing, in a strange land with a foreign language. Just something I will be more aware of next time.

A very well planned, intelligent trip combining walking and sightseeing. Outstanding guide who is articulate, knowledgeable and very helpful. Also, the driver was very professional. My concern is the quality of the hotels. Some of the single rooms were equivalent to student accommodation. However, Scandinavia is expensive and choosing an inner city hotel is difficult in terms of location.

Great trip! Was a bit obvious that the local guides were hungry for tops, they could be less obvious. Could use more washroom breaks, I had to ask at least once. Would have liked to fly home from Frankfurt, 8 hours was tough. We would use Trafalgar again.
