Wonderful tour, the tour guides were friendly helpful and knownledgable about all the areas of Italy we traveled too. The food both provided and suggested was very good. Italy it's beauty, history, culture and it's people were very good making for a great trip. Collette keeps you moving so you can experience a lot on your trip at a good value in very nice accommodations. The art and history of Italy was my favorite part of the trip.
Wonderful trip. Enjoyed the small group of 8. Never want to do a bigger tour!! These trips are made by the tour director and David Miller was fantastic. I believe this was the first trip of this kind and his knowledge and love of Scotland made it a great experience. The accommodations were out of this world. 5 star plus experience. Here are a few things that would help improve your future trips. 1. It is difficult to please everyone with preset menus. You should try to offer a few options for meals if not choosing off of a menu. 2. The itinerary information could be more detailed. For example, explain what the group will be doing that day so that they can plan accordingly with what they wear and what they should bring with them. 3. I came in a day earlier and the airport transfer was a no show. My travel agent was able to get us reimbursement and received a very nice apology letter from Brendan. It appeared that another couple had the same problem, so perhaps a change in the transport company should be considered. I have already recommended this trip to friends who want to visit Scotland.
The Peru tour was truly a once in a lifetime, incredible experience. There were so many excursions and opportunities to immerse ourselves into the Peruvian culture. It felt like no time was wasted on this tour and that there was a commitment for us to see as much of Peru as possible. The most memorable part of the tour for me was meeting and spending time with the locals who still speak the native language and follow ancient traditions. I highly recommend this tour!
An absolute amazing experience! Karin is a phenomenal tour director and her storytelling is superb! She certainly is knowledgeable and if she doesn’t know will definitely find out for you. Northern Ireland was very emotional and it was difficult but it was inspiring to hear the passionate locals. How Connor navigated the tight “two way “ roads in a coach was something. Amazing scenery and led by two people who truly believe in what they were doing. Loved this tour, definitely recommend ❤️
This hiking tour was excellent, with a great mix of beautiful coastal scenery, mountain views, and fascinating historical sites along the route. Every day seemed to offer something different, whether it was a dramatic stretch of coastline, ancient ruins, or a traditional village. A big part of what made the trip so enjoyable was our guide, Alper. He was not only extremely knowledgeable about the hiking and logistics, but also provided historical and cultural context throughout the trip. In fact, I learned more from him about the region's history and culture than I have from many guides on tours that were specifically focused on those subjects. The final day was a perfect way to end the trip. We took a boat excursion to Kekova and the sunken city, with time to explore the beautiful village of Simena, which was one of the surprises of the trip for me. The swimming stops were wonderful, the lunch on board was delicious, and the scenery was spectacular. The trip concluded with an incredible home-cooked dinner prepared by Alper's wife, which felt like a very special and personal touch. Finally, we were fortunate to have a fantastic group of fellow travelers. Everyone got along well, and the camaraderie added a lot to the overall experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a combination of excellent hiking, history, culture, and beautiful scenery.
Fantastic 10 day tour! Our tour guide, Mike was well informed on the history of the towns and cities we visited. The food was excellent and the hotels were upscale, comfortable and welcoming. We made several friends along the way and all the couples on our trip were friendly and engaging. We are planning a return trip to Northern Ireland next May. We would recommend this tour without hesitation or reservations.
