Zagreb Tours in May 2027

Our Balkan tour was a truly unforgettable experience! Travel Director Miss and our driver, went above and beyond to pamper us throughout the journey. Highlights included breathtaking scenery in Montenegro, Dubrovnik, the delicious food in Croatia, the fascinating history of Serbia. It was a total immersion in the beauty and culture of the Balkans, made even more special by the exceptional care of our team.

This itinerary was busy but wonderful. There were so many highlights that included the beauty of nature, history, architecture, and food and culture. Our amazing travel director was knowledgeable, and kept us all organized and stress-free () and the driver () was courteous and drove safely! We would have liked more time in Montenegro as the border crossings were time consuming. It was our first time to the Balkans and we would highly recommend this itinerary.

It was a wonderful tour with a terrific Tour Director . Lots of variety with old history and the up to date information re the former Yugoslavia. The Scenery was fabulous. Loved it.

It was an excellent tour. The hotel for the first night in Zagreb was troubling but from there, everything was excellent. Not sure if you ask this later but you are probably not surprised to hear that the tour director Tod Covich was outstanding. Truly elite.

We experienced so many beautiful places across the country. The Plitvice lakes and the caves were a highlight for us. The 3 nights in Dubrovnik and 2 nights in Korcula gave us ample tine to explore these two spectacular places.

This is a well planned, fabulous trip. , the travel director, kept everyone on track and gave lots of helpful information. , the driver, was always pleasant, willing to help, and an excellent driver. The pace of the trip was relaxed, moving from place to place usually meant only an hour or two on the bus. Hvar island was our favorite stop, so much beauty everywhere! Be prepared for plenty of walking, but if you are active in your daily life you will have no problems. Most of the hotels were great. The hotel on Hvar Island smelled musty and was out of date, but its location was unbeatable. We did 7 out of 8 optional excursions. If we do it again, we will not do the excursions that are only a meal. For instance, the excursion to Montenegro is definitely a must see. The excursion to a family’s home to hear about how they squeeze olive oil is not worth it. You would be better off to find a local restaurant to enjoy a meal that will cost less than the excursion and will give you a better opportunity to try a variety of local foods. The food on excursions was repetitive and heavy, even though it was tasty. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who would like to experience places all over Croatia. In Dubrovnik, get up early and visit to walls around the city before all the crowds get there, it’s worth it! ( I used packing cubes on this trip for the first time. If you are going on a 14 day tour, go get some! You can keep all your clothes organized and neat in your suitcase!)
