NEWFOUNDLAND is an enormous and beautiful place and this trip takes you to the most impressive parts. Many nights were two night stays which i like and I spent a day myself in St. John at the beginning of the trip which i highly recommend≥
THE TOUR WAS EXCELLENT THE TOUR GUIDE WAS THE BEST WELL INFORMED GAVE LOTS OF INTERESTING FACTS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY UPBEAT THE COACH DRIVER WAS GREAT PLEASANT SAW LOTS OF HISTORY
Newfoundland is beautiful. Our guide was excellent. We visited so many places. Unfortunately,, we rarely spent enough time to enjoy the places we visited. The one place I was really looking forward to visiting, L’Anse aux meadows, there was so little time to actually see the site or even buy souvenirs. I really felt cheated. Since the province is vast we spent many hours travelling on the bus. A bus that was particularly comfortable.
Wonderful trip, covered a lot of territory & have terrific memories of seeing whales & puffins up close. Newfoundlanders are so friendly & welcoming that we felt like 5 star guests.
It was well organized and took in both scenic as well as historic locations. The tour took in a large part of the island so we were able to see the variety in the various parts of the island.
The trip was fantastic. The guide, the driver, fellow companions, and all Newfoundlanders we met were wonderful. I wish we could have seen Quidi Vidi, and maybe Twillingate with a possible iceberg boat tour. While we saw a few icebergs, it wasn't enough. The Western Brook Pond boat tour was amazing! Reminded me of Norway. Also enjoyed the Viking Feast dinner - good food and good fun. I enjoyed Labrador, however with the amount of travel involved, I would've liked to see a few more sites there. Overall the trip was as I had hoped it would be. I am sure I will find my way back to Newfoundland sometime in the future.
