Santiago De Compostela Tours and Trips

We had a fabulous walking holiday where accommodation and food exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Jessica, was exceptional. Professional and with boundless energy looked after us expertly. Sharing information of the areas we walked through and answering questions thrown at her all day by us was never a problem. A beautiful part of Spain with great accommodation, great food and fabulous guide. What more could you ask for.

Jessica, our tour leader, was fantastic. We were a small group of 9 travelers. She ensured everyone understood each days length, difficulty, stops and destination. She waited for the slower travelers and ensured everyone completed each days journey. She also arranged lunches and dinners in advance each day which made the trip run smooth and seamlessly. Well done Explore!

Very efficient luggage transfer. Good selection of accommodation from superb to average. No one tells you Sarria, the starting point for our trip, is almost impossible to get to and we had to get a very expensive taxi. The walking was much less challenging than we had been led to believe. The portal worked very well and the maps were great, although you'd be hard pushed to get lost with all the signage. Would do it again and from another direction as Santiago is one of the great destinations. Spend a couple of days there after the walk.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stroll across Northern Spain. This iconic pilgrim path was brought alive by our wonderful tour guide Jessica who’s local knowledge, people skills and instinctive warm and kind ways presented the perfect glue that held together one of the nicest bunches of people that we have had the privilege of spending a perfect time with.

Good info and preparation details. Helpful communication. Luggage transfer and accommodation all worked smoothly. Online map link (GPX) really useful and worked well in conjunction with daily notes - all good!

Good communication with/from Explore and very well organised throughout. Helpful and very friendly staff. The holiday was great. Beautiful countryside, lovely accommodation, friendly group. Our Explore leader Jessica was excellent, knowledgeable and encouraging so big thank you to her. I would recommend this trip.
