Travel Tips
- While in Nice, make sure to try socca, a fire-baked chickpea crêpe, which is a signature snack of this coastal town.
- Even though Nice is at its liveliest during warm summer months (from May to October), as a city of 300,000 residents, life in Nice doesn’t stop outside of the tourist season. For example, if you happen to be in town during February, you will have a chance to experience the Nice Carnival, one of the largest festivals of this kind in Europe.
- If you have a sweet tooth, make sure to drop by Fenocchio, a family-owned ice cream parlor located on Place Rossetti, which features a whopping 100 flavors of ice creams and sorbets.
