Munich Tours and Trips
The unofficial “southern capital” is famous for several distinctly German symbols, such as the Oktoberfest, beer halls and lederhosen, which means a trip to Munich should be at the very top of your list if you ever plan on visiting Germany. Travelers who decide to spend their holidays in Munich will get to immerse themselves in this fast-evolving Bavarian metropolis which, despite the growing size and busy pace of life, managed to preserve its rustic medieval character. This was a great trip to give you a taste of all the key sites in these parts of Italy. It’s a family oriented trip and is good for all ages as long as everyone can walk several miles a day. The services provided by trafalgar staff is catered to make the guests have the best experience as possible. It was great how the extra trips to different sites are added in to travel days so the day is still filled with site seeing and fun experiences beyond a bus ride.
Every thing fine . A bit more in-depth info before would good .. A bit of a hassle when we stayed at holiday express don’t put fridges in the rooms.
This was a great tour. We had a family of four, including one teenager and one preteen. The pace of the tour was perfect for us. We enjoyed the mix of preset and optional activities. The tour took us to many places we could have likely found on our own, but also to some hidden gems that ended up being some of the highlights of our time.
The Highlights of Germany trip was great! Our Trafalgar tour guide was amazing; very caring about the people on our tour and so knowledgeable and inciteful about the history of the country.
If there is any way to separate the two train trips, I think it would be a much more enjoyable trip. They were both great, but having the St. Moritz to the train one evening and then getting up early the next morning for the Express train was over kill. The servers at the restaurant (included) in Munich were very rude and the food was fine. It was close to the hotel, but I would not recommend that location (Biergarten).
We had a wonderful time and seen so much and did so much! I loved everything and my only wish is that we would have had more time at Dachau Concentration Camp. To be honest, that was one of the main reasons why I came on this trip. While the tour guide that we had, there was very knowledgeable. I felt like he rushed us through much of the tour. We only had limited time to look at things in the museum.
