Marrakech Walking Trips

Well organized trek in a beautiful area of Morocco. Tour guides were very helpful along the way. We took the longer 7 day trip and it was well worth the extra time and money!

Great trip, well lead by Omar who took care of everyone through week. Whilst the trio was tough in parts, Omar made sure that the pace was appropriate for everyone. I would highly recommend the trip.

Hamid was an excellent leader. The whole group reached the summit. He sets good pace and schedule, communicated well with the group and explained things along the way with appropriate humour. Food was excellent cooked by our accompanying chef.. All arrangements worked well. Itinerary was goood and better in my opinion that alternative providers , i.e. 3 day trip prior to summit climb which drew group together and enabled acclimatisation, 3 days to climb Mt Toubkal, i.e. 1 day Aremd to base camp, 6am start to summit & back to base camp, 1 day descent to Imlil. It means you don't get to see sunrise from the summit but means much of the ascent is in the light which is easier, you get to see the scenery on the way up, I expect is not as cold and you are less tired.

This is our fourth tour with Europamundo and our tour guides were the best that we’ve ever have. We started the tour with Ouma our English speaking guide in the same bus with Ayoub the Spanish speaking guide and we felt very lucky to have them both (we’re fully bilingual). She was very well prepared and kind to us and the other English speaking couple, she spoke very clear and explained everything very well, to our luck our bus was packed with Latin American tourists mostly from Argentina, Uruguay and Peru, Ayoub the Spanish speaking guide was helpful, patient and very informative, the guy was hilarious!! He explained with plenty of detail and answered all the questions since latinos love to ask questions on every topic. He made the long drives and the whole circuit very pleasant with lots of interesting information. The last 2 guides Aoyub our English speaking guide was very kind, knowledgeable and informative always ready to help. Khalid the other Spanish speaking guide also very well informed, helpful, and very funny. It was an excellent trip, kudos to our guides!!!Thank you for making our vacation very enjoyable and for your hard work and service. You are the real “Ambassadors” of your country. This was a good holiday giving different sights and experiences throughout the week. Our tour Leader Mohamed Bakhouche went above and beyond to ensure that all went well. For me the highlight was walking in the Afensou Valley, it is stunning. The accommodations in the Atlas mountains were exceptional . I was allocated an inferior room in the riad in Essaouira but thanks to our guide this was changed for me, Our driver gets a thumbs up for taking care of our small group. All in all I highly recommend this trip.
