I had the best time of my life + our trip manager Bailey and driver Pav were amazing. 11/10. Great value, great convenience, great people. I tell others to not even bother going around europe by themselves because Contiki is by far the best and safest way to do it. This is my 2nd contiki and I cant wait for my 3rd!
My trip on the European highlights tour was simply amazing. I made new friends, saw incredible sights, experienced different cultures, and most of all had fun along the way. Each accomodation was unique and supplied all we needed (aside from AC in Germany accommodation, but Europe was going through a strange heatwave at the time). Our tour manager and coach driver were involved and enthusiastic about assisting and having fun with our group. Our guides at different locations were energetic and passionate about their activities which then resulted in good experiences had by all. I’m super grateful to have come on this trip and I’m all the better for it.
The smaller centres were my favorite. Heidelberg and Innsbruck were so much more beautiful than I imagined. Venice was such an experience, not knowing that there were various islands spread out with such diversity amongst them, Lake Maggiore and Lucerne were exceptional . The venicular and gondola to top of the Swiss Alps spectacular! The history, the architecture! The beauty was astonishing! We loved Paris, our hotel was close to the main trains, however be ready for lots of walking throughout the various centres! Our group felt that the tours in Rome were too much for one day, perhaps split over two days. Our guide was knowledgeable too, and very helpful with recommendations for which option’s may be suitable, preferable to individuals. He perhaps could share a few more details from the coach, of the various landscapes etc? Highly recommend Insight Tours, as this was out second trip!
What a journey. A great experience and wonderful bunch of walkers to share it with. The guide was very helpful and it was a joy to be able to walk and appreciate the countryside without having to think about the route. The bag transport worked like magic, with bags always appearing at the next accommodation. Highly recommended.
Well coordinated and managed. Time discipline was very good. Most of the hotels were quite good. Breakfast in all hotels were outstanding. Some guides could have been better. Guide Jose is the best in the world!
We very much enjoyed the sites that we visited and the opportunity to experience the culture and history of each country. Our tour director Rebecca was fabulous - very knowledgeable and pleasant, always looking out for our best interests. The tour bus was comfortable, and we felt safe with our drivers.
