He’s well informed, articulate, cheerful and service oriented. I would recommend this tour to everyone if you want to have a decent cultural and historical coverage of Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka is an incredible country to visit, with its warm and welcoming people and rich cultural heritage. Our favorite experiences were the cooking class in Kandy, which gave us a chance to learn about the local cuisine, and the safari in Wilpattu National Park. Our 20-day tailor-made trip to Sri Lanka was truly unforgettable, largely thanks to our wonderful guide Lahiru. The lunches provided were delicious, with a warm lunch on the first day and quintessential 'boxed' lunches on subsequent days. The dinners were all buffet-style, but with plenty of options, including vegetarian. Overall, we feel that our trip was worth every penny and would jump at the chance to do it all over again. My husband and I have just returned from an incredible 3-week honeymoon in Sri Lanka, meticulously planned by Lahiru. It was truly an unforgettable experience, from the moment we landed in Colombo until our departure. We began our journey in Colombo, where we stayed at a luxurious beach resort overlooking the Indian Ocean. Our private driver took us on a guided tour of the city, allowing us to explore the bustling streets, learn about the country's rich history and culture, and sample some of the delicious local cuisine. We also visited the beautiful Gangaramaya Temple, a must-see for anyone visiting Colombo. From Colombo, we traveled to Sigiriya, home to the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress. We climbed the ancient rock to take in the stunning views from the top, and also visited the nearby Dambulla Cave Temple, which features intricate Buddhist frescoes and statues carved into the rock. Next, we traveled to Kandy, a picturesque city located in the hills of central Sri Lanka. We stayed at a stunning hotel nestled in the jungle, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views. During our stay, we visited the Temple of the Tooth, a sacred Buddhist temple and UNESCO World Heritage site, and took a scenic train ride through the countryside to visit a tea plantation and learn about Sri Lanka's famous tea industry. Our journey continued to the southern coast, where we stayed at a luxurious beach resort in Mirissa. We went on a whale watching excursion, which was a highlight of our trip, and also took a day trip to the historic city of Galle, exploring its charming streets and fortifications. Throughout our journey, we were accompanied by private drivers who made our travels comfortable and stress-free. Lahiru had carefully arranged all of our transportation, accommodations, and activities, and we never had to worry about a thing. Overall, our honeymoon in Sri Lanka was an incredible experience that exceeded all of our expectations.
