My husband and I have just returned from an incredible 3-week honeymoon in Sri Lanka, meticulously planned by Lahiru. It was truly an unforgettable experience, from the moment we landed in Colombo until our departure. We began our journey in Colombo, where we stayed at a luxurious beach resort overlooking the Indian Ocean. Our private driver took us on a guided tour of the city, allowing us to explore the bustling streets, learn about the country's rich history and culture, and sample some of the delicious local cuisine. We also visited the beautiful Gangaramaya Temple, a must-see for anyone visiting Colombo. From Colombo, we traveled to Sigiriya, home to the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress. We climbed the ancient rock to take in the stunning views from the top, and also visited the nearby Dambulla Cave Temple, which features intricate Buddhist frescoes and statues carved into the rock. Next, we traveled to Kandy, a picturesque city located in the hills of central Sri Lanka. We stayed at a stunning hotel nestled in the jungle, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views. During our stay, we visited the Temple of the Tooth, a sacred Buddhist temple and UNESCO World Heritage site, and took a scenic train ride through the countryside to visit a tea plantation and learn about Sri Lanka's famous tea industry. Our journey continued to the southern coast, where we stayed at a luxurious beach resort in Mirissa. We went on a whale watching excursion, which was a highlight of our trip, and also took a day trip to the historic city of Galle, exploring its charming streets and fortifications. Throughout our journey, we were accompanied by private drivers who made our travels comfortable and stress-free. Our local guide were also a big part of what made our trip so special. he was so knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating. he was always happy to adjust the itinerary, or to spend more time at a particular site. We appreciated their expertise and enthusiasm for the country, and they made the whole experience feel very personalized and tailored to our needs. One of the highlights of our trip was exploring Sri Lanka's stunning national parks, where we saw an incredible array of wildlife, including elephants, leopards, and exotic birds. We also enjoyed visiting historic temples and ruins, sampling delicious local cuisine, and taking in the breathtaking scenery from the top of Sigiriya Rock. Overall, our family had an amazing time in Sri Lanka, and we would highly recommend it as a destination for anyone looking for a mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. We can't wait to plan our next trip back!

From start to finish the tour was amazing, the accommodation we stayed in was amazing and much better than I expected. The itinerary is well planned and makes the most of experiencing everything while still having lots of time to relax. My personal highlight of the tour was the train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella, the scenery was breathtaking. Big shout out to Lahiru our tour guide who made this trip so memorable and funny. can’t wait to go back to Sri Lanka already!

Sri Lanka is a beautiful country that I look forward to visiting again. The tour arrangements were perfect without any issues.
