Overall, had an excellent time and highly recommend G Adventures Geluxe tour! I am a very experienced traveler, but you really need a tour operator to see Peru / Machu Picchu / Inca Trail, and G Adventures is the best! I saw many other tour groups along the way, and they seemed to be larger and/or having lower quality experiences / food / accommodations. G Adventures Geluxe is not cheap, but it's worth the cost - accommodations, food, and experiences were excellent. And I was absolutely blown away by the food, accommodation, and attention to detail on the Inca Trail....five star experience from the tents to warm sleeping bags to the absolutely amazing meals. Shout out to our CEO, our guide on the trek, our chef, and the porters who worked SO hard to make our trip comfortable!!! (Note: despite all the comforts, it is still camping/glamping and difficult hiking, so take that into consideration when deciding if this is for you.)

We planned our epic trip to South America with Analia. She was excellent at listening, advising, tailoring, meeting expectations for our requirements to make this trip an amazing experience. Joaquina then took over to support and guide us through the finer details of the trip, and whilst we were on our holiday. We had access to a WhatsApp support for any queries along the way, a 24 hour emergency WhatsApp number also. The tours and guides were of all very good, with some guides standing out as excellent. We did find it a little annoying when on larger tours with multi lingual guides as we seemed to be in the minority. It felt like we weren't gaining from the same level of information as that delivered to the Spanish speaking! However, overall, the service was seamless, caring, friendly and professional. I would recommend the team without hesitation. Thank you 🙂🙂

I did not know Gadventures or anyone who have traveled with Gadventures before booking the Classic Peru trip. It has exceeded my expectation in terms of activities and how genuine and local they were and the execution of the program. Will definitely travel with Gadventures again

Top notch trip visiting two stunning Inca sites. One well publicised with 2500 visitors per day, while the other might only see 25! But you need to do some hard walking to reach that one........

I booked the jungle extension which we started from then continued onto the cycling part. Our group was small (only 4 people) but well integrated. I would highly recommend the extension but you may want to put it at the end as starting from it means an extremely long travel with 3 back to back flights. The wildlife and the views we saw were breathtaking. Many boat rides, including a canoe-like one which I dreaded (dislike of small boats) but what we saw more than made up for the stress. Be ready for not as much strenuous as stressful at times cycling due to quite technically challenging very steep descents on gravel/stones which require good mountain bike handling skills. Culturally it is a fantastic trip. I loved the flora & fauna of Costa Rica and have great memories from Colombia but Peru is simply an explosion of colour and the food is ridiculously good. The hiking part was challenging but the views breathtaking. The number of Inka ruin sites we visited BEFORE Machu Picchu was also a positive surprise.
