Trip was well organised. Food was a high standard. Julian and Alan were both great guides. Julian provided on occasion forward advice on the route for the next day but not every time. So I think a group briefing every evening at dinner would be good to do in what to expect the next day.

We were very happy with the organisation of our Dolomites self-guided hiking week. The hotels were good to very good, the luggage transportation was flawless, and above all the hikes suggested for each day were excellent, varied and challenging. We were well informed in advance about any issues arising, such as one hike not being possible because of snow conditions. Good, comprehensive pack of information and maps.

The Dolomites trek was without doubt one of the most memorable I have done. The mountains themselves were spectacular, the trails varied and while challenging very doable. The refugios were “interesting “ and our guide charming and very capable.

The organisation, attention to detail, the route itself,the huttes, the people in the group etc all was amazing. I really enjoyed the trip. However having travelled with them on two previous occassions on guided hikes and having knowledge of previous guides i have to say unfortunately I was somewhat disappointed with our guide for this trip.
