Bordeaux Tours and Trips

It gave a good glimpse of places all around France.. To really see some places you need to be there for several days which isn't practical. The optional extras were good and educational. The itinerary gave you a variety of how you want to spend your day.

We enjoyed the entire trip. There were a couple of restaurants where the chicken was not very good. Other than that, the destinations were fantastic. We took another "Best of" itinerary when we went to Italy, and enjoyed them both immensely.

Although it is packed with touring, especially if you do all the optional excursions, it is well paced. We enjoyed the guides and sights. You probably should research the locations beforehand so you know what you want to see on your own time, especially if you decide not to do the optional. There is so much to see everywhere. Driving through on the orientations can help guide you with your free time. If there's a church within walking distance, check it out. They have ALL been Amazing in their own different ways.

The tour was a whirlwind in order to see all the sites in France, but was worth the early starts. Would have skipped Arles and would have liked to stay a night in Monaco or close by. So many must see areas were covered! Highly recommend the Best of France Tour.

This itinerary covers A LOT of territory - so be prepared for a packed schedule - which is exactly what I was looking for. It gives you a good overview of many aspects of France - history, architecture, big cities, medieval towns, and of course food & wine!

He went above and beyond his responsibilities to solve problems that cropped up for individuals. His excellent French:English was able to unravel difficulties smoothly. Efficient and helpfull bus driver who worked well with the Tour guide to ensure no one felt left out.
