Bordeaux Tours in Spring

This trip covered many areas of France. My favorites were the Beaches of Normandy and Omaha. I wish the museum in Caan could’ve been included. Touring Paris was beautiful, especially Notre Dame Cathedral, Seine River trip, Eiffel Tower at night, and the Moulin Rouge show was fantabulous! Our tour guide, was so informative, as were the other Guides, made it more interesting yet. We had the best coach driver. He was so caring.

The itinerary was great, from visiting well known landmarks to spending a leisurely Sunday lunch in the French style. I particularly liked the use of technology so that we could access wifi on the coach and recharge personal devices on the coach. The use of the VOX meant that everyone could hear what was being said by the guides without them having to shout. Our Trafalgar guide was able to 'short cut' us into all venues and knew all the free restrooms in France. hahaha!!

Amazing trip. So many sites, very busy, but well worth it. Loved it - will be memories for ever. The tour guide and the bus driver were exceptional. The information provided by the tour guide was very impressive, knowledgeable and fun. Loved the trip. Anyone interested in seeing France this is the way to go!

We had a wonderful time on this trip and , our tour guide and our driver, were exceptional! On the down side, our visit to Normandy was WAY TOO SHORT! Would have been nice to spend the night there so we could have visited "all" there is to see and read about. The tour of Versailles - wish we would have known, in advance, about ALL the walking and ALL the stairs and how hard and arduous it would/could be on a number of senior visitors.

There is a lot of travel time on the bus. The extra tours are expensive. The tour guides for the extra tours were all very informed and educated. Our tour guide is amazing. Took very good care of us. She communicates very well with much reinforcements. There were no language barriers at all. I felt very comfortable knowing very little French. Everyone was very accommodating. I must say, the first meal, the day that we all met; was very disappointing. Roasted chicken and french fries was such a disappointment. Stop catering to American tastes! Where were the vegetables? It was obvious that vegetables were plentiful. Asparagus was in season. None seen! Hotels were all nice but terrible soft beds with terrible pillows. My body protested every day I climbed out of bed.

From day one, our tour director was spot on. We enjoyed hearing stories and information of places we were going to visit. And, of course we enjoyed all of our excursions. Best of France was perfect for what we wanted to.
