A hidden gem in the Lower Khumbu region, Pikey Peak, located at an elevation of 4,070 meters, is a great option for those who cannot or do not want to make it to higher elevations but want to enjoy the beauty of the Himalayas up close.
This eleven-day, private, guided tour starts with a drive to Bamti Bhandar, a village in Nepal's eastern Ramechhap district, on the second day. Hike up to Golla, a mountain village, via Namkheli. See its beautiful monasteries and continue further to Pikey Peak Base Camp, located 3,600 m above sea level.
Muster your strength and head for the peak the next day. Although barely 4,000 metres above sea level, the views of the mountains from the peak is surreal. See some of the highest mountains in the world, including Dhaulagiri, Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Numbur, Gaurisankhar and Langtang.
Take in the views before heading down. The journey back involves traveling via Junbesi and Phaplu. En route, you will visit Thupten Chholing Monastery, a Tibetan Buddhist monastery with resident monks and nuns. You have a free day in Kathmandu before it is time to head home.
Be part of this 12-day, guided trek and get the chance to visit the Gokyo Lakes, glistening bodies water high up in the Himalayas that are fed by the surrounding glaciers. Your journey starts in Kathmandu with a short flight to the airstrip in Lukla.
Hit the trail for Namche Bazaar and continue your journey to the Gokyo Valley via Dole and Machhermo to reach the Gokyo Lakes. Explore the glistening bodies of water and enjoy stunning views of the Himalayas from Gokyo Ri before heading back to Lungden via the Renjo La Pass. Then continue your downhill journey via Thame and Namche to reach Lukla, from where you will catch your flight home.
The Gokyo Valley is home to six glacial lakes that hold special significance to both Hindus and Buddhists. It is also known for Gokyo Ri (5,357m), which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Although not as well known as Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar, the views of Mount Everest from Gokyo Ri are said to surpass those from Kala Patthar. Other peaks that you can see from Gokyo Ri include Mount Cho Oyo (8,153m), Mount Makalu (8,475m) and Mount Lhotse (8,511m).
The other highlight of this trip is the Ngozumba Glacier, the longest glacier in Nepal that is also the source of the lakes in the Gokyo Valley. The best months for this trek are from September to December and February to May.

While many travelers know about Everest Base Camp, few are aware of the hidden gem that is Lobuche East, a mountain close to the Khumbu Glacier that offers stunning views of Ama Dablam, Tawache and other peaks in the Himalayas.

Join us on this guided, 4-day adventure of a lifetime and get the chance to scale Island Peak. One of the most popular peaks among budding as well as experienced climbers, summiting this peak offers climbers the chance to increase their skill level as well as enjoy an unparalleled view of the majestic Himalayas.
Known among the locals as Imja Tse, this peak got its English name because it looks like an island adrift on a sea of ice from afar. Meet your team members in Chhukung on the first day of the adventure and get all the necessary details.
Head for Island Peak Base Camp on the second day of the trip. You will have plenty of time to train using your ice axe and ropes as well as walking on the surface of a glacier at the base camp. Spend your night there and start your journey to the top early in the morning on Day 3.
Enjoy stunning views of Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu, Ama Dablam and Baruntse mountains from the summit before heading down. This itinerary also comes with a reserve day just in case the weather does not favour us. For more details, please go through the itinerary below.
