A great tour full of variety. Although there was a fair amount of travelling involved, it was definitely worth it for all the different experiences we had . First and foremost we had a most wonderful guide, Jessica. She gave us a rundown daily of what to expect ie: mileage, terrain, history of the area, landmarks. She made sure we were well hydrated during the heat wave. Had numerous bathroom breaks as well as nutrition stops. Jessica was able to negotiate and translate with the locals when we needed her in restaurants and hotels. To me Jessica made the entire trip memorable. She is a ray of sunshine.

Our tour leader, Alper, was really great. Nothing was too much trouble for him and even though he had a million things to sort out all the time he was always patient and kind. We also had a guide trainee, Ali, on our trip who was equally great! The hikes went through beautiful scenery & we had loads of sea swimming opportunities. All in all, a really lovely week and a beautiful area full of history.

This was our first ocean voyage. We had a superior cabin which was very spacious. The captain, the crew and staff were very polite and friendly. Everyone made you feel at home and very comfortable. The expedition team were excellent, very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The lectures were extremely interesting and informative. The ship was very clean and our cabin constantly cleaned. We had a fantastic experience on the ship and off. I would love to travel with Aurora again but need to save a lot of money. Despite the expense, I would highly recommend.
