If you’re spending one week in Colombia, you’ve got plenty of time to visit the spectacular Lost City. This world-famous multi-day hike starts in the beach town of Santa Marta. From here, roam through the jungle and farmland, through Kogi communities in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. After a couple of days of trekking through the hot jungle, you’ll arrive at the 1200 ancient steps of La Ciudad Perdida, the Lost City. This is an ancient and spiritual site, so take your time exploring the ruins and temples within the compound.
