See one of the country’s largest mosques, Jama Masjid; drive past the mighty 17th-century Red Fort that has become a symbol of India; and see the national capital’s most famous gurudwara, Bangla Sahib. The next day, see the Taj Mahal, one of the world’s most beautiful monuments. You may also visit Agra Fort, commissioned in 1565 by emperor Akbar, who also founded the nearby Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri, which you’ll explore the next day.
