A 7-day Langtang trek with this local tour operator is highly recommended! We had five wonderful, tough, fun, beautiful, and overwhelming days of trekking, experiencing Nepal’s raw natural power up close. We hiked from Syabrubesi to Kyanjin Gompa (a 2,400-meter altitude gain!) in three days and descended in two. Along the way, we passed through lush forests, steep mountain slopes, and even snowy trails. When the weather was clear, the views of countless towering peaks were absolutely unforgettable. The entire experience was guided by our experienced guide, Binod, and our knees were especially grateful to have the kind porter, Rajendra, with us. Binod managed everything perfectly, paid close attention to how we were feeling, and adjusted the pace according to our needs. He was also very aware of altitude sickness symptoms. We took Diamox but didn’t experience any issues. Unfortunately, I caught a bad cold just before the trek, but Binod was ready with medicine, Strepsils, and ginger tea. He and Rajendra make a fun duo, adding to the fantastic experience! Along the way, the company were easy to reach if we needed any additional assistance – though we never actually had to. We were two sisters on this adventure, and we are SO happy that we gave ourselves this experience!

My husband and I just completed the 8-day Langtang Valley trek! We were guided by the amazing expert Ramesh, and our superman porter (and skillful jeep driver) Suresh. We had such a great time and are feeling very accomplished. We feel fortunate to have had these fellows with us as they made the trip so much more fun and interesting. They were patient, funny and never seemed annoyed at my very slow rate of both ascent and descent. Ramesh guided my husband Kevin up Tsergo Ri at an early hour while Suresh showed me around Kenjin Gompa and the yak cheese factory, and helped me while I had some mild altitude sickness. I felt like we were traveling with pals rather than hired hands. The trek itself was amazing. We had perfect weather and made excellent time despite my slowness! We ended up finishing a day early, and so on Ramesh’s suggestion we headed to Chisopani so we could ring in the new year with a mountain sunrise. It ended up being cold and cloudy, but keeping warm at the campfire talking with the guys was one of my most memorable moments of the trip. We had an exceptional experience of Private Everest Base Camp Helicopter tour with Landing at Kalapattar. This trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget. From start to finish, everything was well-planned and perfectly executed. The landing at Kalapattar was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The views were breathtaking, and it was truly an unforgettable experience to see the Himalayas from such a high altitude. The weather and view from Hotel Everest View were not ideal, the delicious breakfast made up for it. The timings for the helicopter were perfect, and the briefing before the trip was very informative. The team made sure that everything was well-arranged and organized throughout the trip. It was a splendid introductory trip. The guides in each city were very good; the the cities themselves were fascinating. We chose our own restaurants which was easy. The museums were quite spectacular, and if you like art Botelo is a master of painting and sculpture. I must say I was confused about the preparatory organization, since it all seemed to be done on-line; and did not come together in a package for us until a few days before we arrived, but in the end the logistics were excellent. The cars and guides arrived on time at every stop, and the hotels were very good. So all in all, well done.

Loved this trek. You visit some very remote places where traditional Nepali lifestyles are maintained. The combo of jungle and high altitude Himalayan mountain scenery gives you a comprehensive view of the Nepali landscape. My guide Kuldhur Bahadur Gharti Magar and porter Chhoten Sherpa did an amazing job and I would highly recommend their services. They provided great options to supplement the itinerary based on my energy levels every day.
