To be able to get an idea of a country by driving around it is something I would recommend wherever you are. Even better when someone else does the driving.
The views even with unpredictable weather were always second to none. Black sand beaches and icebergs one minute, Lunar like landscapes the next. Spectacular waterfalls around even turn. Enormous fjords and glaciers that you can actually hear moving.

Fantastic tour, very fast paced. Changes to itinerary were communicated and made up for well. Excellent tour guide. Communication during transfers was poor.

Awesome, amazing, fantastic … a magical tour. We were very fortunate to have fine clear and sunny skies with no wind for large period of our trip. We did experience whiteouts in the mountains and a little snow. The Northern Lights were better than I hoped for. Erla our guide was superb, enthusiastic to share her knowledge and love for her country with a great itinerary. Thor our driver was also fantastic and safe as there were a few tricky days with whiteouts and ice! Highly recommend this tour. Food was tops too

You’ll meet Icelandic horses with more personality than you’d expect, dine on local flavours in cozy settings, and, with luck, catch the Northern Lights dancing overhead. This is adventure dialled up — with just the right amount of comfort, charm, and connection.

Join this unique adventure to explore the wonders of both Arctic and boreal environments. The boreal biomes (also called taiga) are cold, dense forests dominated by coniferous trees, boreal woodlands and wildlife such as caribou, black bears and Arctic foxes. It’s a sharp contrast to the Arctic biomes, treeless regions marked by extreme winters, low vegetation consisting mostly of mosses and lichens, and polar bears, seals and migratory birds.
You’ll also immerse in a cross-section of cultural traditions: Greenlandic culture in places like Sisimiut; Inuit and Nunatsiavut culture in Nunavut and Labrador; Viking history at l’Anse Aux Meadows in Newfoundland; then the welcoming East Coast hospitality of St John’s, famously steeped in Celtic music and history thanks to its vast population of Irish descendants.
