The Madagascar Adventure tour starts and ends in Antananarivo. The Madagascar Adventure is a trekking tour that takes 21 days taking you through Antananarivo, Madagascar and other destinations in Madagascar.

A complete exploration of the enigmatic island 'continent' of Madagascar. Discover the diverse wildlife and ecology of Madagascar on this unique multi-activity tour. Madagascar is the world’s fourth largest island and about the size of France. Isolated from Africa millions of years ago it has evolved an incredibly rich ecology and landscape that is as bizarre as it is unique. Home to one of the richest ecosystems on earth, you will be in awe of its quirky lemurs and endemic varieties of Baobab trees. Madagascar is "home" to nearly one-quarter of all the flowering plants in Africa. It also boasts ninety percent of the known species of lemur and half the world's population of chameleons. Marvel at the diverse landscapes, from lush tropical rainforest to semi arid and jagged limestone pinnacles. The local people, who are descendants of seafarers from the Indian Ocean, are proudly distinct from the peoples of continental Africa and are unfailingly polite and hospitable. We explore the spectacular collection of the island’s national parks on this itinerary including the UNESCO World Heritage site of Tsingy de Bemaraha.

“What an awesome place and people. 21 days of exploring only part of this country was a great experience. We were looked after extremely well by the many people involved, and taken to some amazing places. One of the highlights was canoeing down the Manambolo River for 3.5 days and camping on the way. On the trip we saw some of the many species of lemurs, and other unique wildlife. Highly recommended trip.”

“Being my first group tour experience I was slightly hesitant at first but the trip was a great experience to see some of the unique flora and fauna of Madagascar. The tour leader and porters/drivers were extremely professional, insightful into Madagascar and the the local communities. This tour was absolutely fantastic and we have already booked through World Expeditions to do Nepal next year!”

“This was an excellent trip which fulfilled our expectations and gave us many WOW moments. We were blessed with an excellent guide in Fhurisco and a careful, safe and cheerful driver in Caesar. Fhuriscos interest in photography was a bonus for most members of the group. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the local flora, fauna, history and cooking skills.was a revelation. He clearly loves his country and did his best to help us understand the people and customs. His spotting skills when it came to lemurs and chameleons were amazing. We enjoyed every aspect of this trip: the canoeing leg, the the trekking and hiking days, the camping and lodges/hotels chosen. The vehicles used suited the purpose, were roadworthy and comfortable.”
