My Kenya trip with Contiki was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I was immersed in the stunning landscapes and vibrant culture. We started our adventure exploring Nairobi, getting a taste of the city's bustling energy. Then, we headed out on a safari in Maasai Mara, where I saw incredible wildlife—lions, elephants, giraffes, and more—up close and personal. The experience of sunrise over the savannah was unforgettable. We also visited local villages, learning about Maasai traditions and connecting with the community. The trip was a perfect mix of adventure, cultural immersion, and relaxation. The group was fantastic, and our guides made everything seamless and fun. Overall, it was an inspiring journey that left me with lifelong memories and a deeper appreciation for Kenya’s natural beauty and rich culture.

This trip was amazing - from the accommodation, to the food, to the hotel staff and guides to the huge abundance of wildlife we saw. The Masai Mara lived up to expectations, with the magical wildlife encounters - including watching a leopard drag her recent kill to a tree and seeing a cheetah carrying her tiny cub to an area of safety. Seeing so many lions also made me very happy! Tsavo had less easily seen wildlife, but staying at the wonderful Kipalo Hills more than compensated. What a wonderful place to relax and just enjoy the peace and quiet.

Our tour leader Mania was professional and knowledgeable. His enthusiasm and passion for his work was the main reason why the trip was so successful. The itinerary was thoughtful and the accommodation and meals provided were exceptional. The genuine welcome from those who worked at the hotels was stand out. A good first introduction to Kenya and the safari experience!

It was the trip of a lifetime. I had an amazing time. It was everything I expected from a bucket list trip and more! Moses and the camping staff were SO good. It was fun. The song they did at the end was epic! I really felt immersed in their culture. The food on the camping trip was so good.

This was a great trip, full of new experiences and great sights. The diverse itinerary was a key highlight - ranging from cities/towns, safari and island/beach at the end. Wild camping in the Serengeti was amazing !! It was also great to travel with people from a wide range of countries and backgrounds, this only added to the great experience.

I loved that our family of six had this adventure all to ourselves. It was a trip of a lifetime for our family. The trip exceeded our expectations and was outstanding. We were very fortunate to see so many animals which was amazing. We chose this trip for the number and variety of safari drives, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the cultural and educational aspects.
