We had an excellent Tour Director. He knew a great deal and was keen to share this. Highlights included dinner in a family home in Amman, the walk into Petra, the desert camp at Widi Rum and a dinner with Bedouins in a tent, near little Petra. I found the local people extremely hospitable and welcoming. The whole trip exceeded my expectations.

Everything was great. I enjoyed the coach and the WiFi and water that was included. I wish we could have stayed one more night in Wadi Rum since arrived there late and didn’t have time to explore our hotel. I also wish we didn’t have to go to a family’s home for dinner on the second night. The host, made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He introduced to us his “sexy wife” when we arrived. And after tying a scarf on my head in front of the group, he grabbed my face and leaned in to give me a kiss on the lips in front of his wife, daughters, and the rest of the tour group. I ducked as soon as I realized what he was doing. I was shocked! He should never ever do this! Even if it was a joke, this is something that was very unprofessional and disrespectful. I was scared, and they were just laughing at me. The tour guide wasn’t there to witness what happened, but everyone else saw including my sister. It changed my entire perspective of the family and their values. This man, needs some serious looking in to. I’m sure I am not the only one he has subjected this kind of behavior to. This needs to stop and I hope no one ever has to be out in this situation, especially on a tour that costs lots of time and money. I am a young woman and I need to feel safe during the tours that I decide to spend my hard earned money on. I travel around the world, and most of the time I am on my own. This is the type of behavior that worries me and it happened during your tour. I would like an update on and his future with the company and I hope an apology. I am sure he thinks he did nothing wrong since him and his family continued to laugh even after I ducked away from him.

this was a great itinerary, although an extra day in Petra would be helpful especially when you are battling heat. To have time to actually use the pool at the 'village' hotel would be incredible. We came in around 10-11pm and were out by 7 am the next morning.
Also, you really need to deal with the 'extra' activities. We came in early to do the Desert Castles add-on and were told we had to wait to talk to our tour director - who we didn't see until 6 pm that evening when it was too late. (when we asked about it before going we were told to talk to our tour director when we got there)
