A fantastic trip with lots of experiences - tasting traditional home cooked food, wine tasting, churches, monasteries and wonderful views of the Caucasus. Our guide Tamar was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable, pleasant and with a great sense of humour. Would thoroughly recommend the trip,

Ana was an excellent explore leader, information given clearly, and she was very helpful and friendly. The trip was lovely, you will eat very well! I really enjoyed the cooking workshops in people's kitchen, it was a nice way to see how things were done in a traditional way. Accommodation was good, some lovely views. Our driver Beka was also fantastic, friendly and kept the bus spotless.

A fantastic trip - explored the food and area well. Ana is a fantastic guide and a credit to both companies. The trip went very smoothly and the itinerary was moved when necessary due to the unexpected snow! Would definitely recommend this trip and Georgia is a fantastic country to visit. Only downside is the number of stray dogs and cats - the ones in Tbilisi are ok - they ignore people but the others are in some ways too friendly and jump up you despite you trying your hardest to stay away from them - unfortunately one of our group did get scratched by a dog and Ana was fantastic in ensuring that they went to hospital and got the relevant injections but don't let this put you off the trip. You don't need much local currency as most places take cards - even some of the toilets! It is useful to have a small amount of currency and you can either take it out of an ATM or exchange currency on the first day. There was some travelling but it was all broken up and the accommodation was good.

Great itinerary with plenty of exposure to local food and wine. The hosted lunches were fantastic! Our guide Ana made this an incredible trip. She kept us informed, gave us history without over talking and always had coins for the WC. My fourth Explore trip, and each has been amazing.

This was a great trip covering two countries with complex histories, fascinating cultures, contemporary geo-strategic issues, great people, terrific food and wine. The two guides, Armina (Armenia) and Zura (Georgia), were excellent both in terms of organisation, but importantly for me, in explaining the history and culture of their countries. I had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed this holiday,

This was a very full-on trip to two very interesting countries. Both guides were brilliant, their in-depth knowledge and willingness to answer all our myriad questions added considerably to my enjoyment of the trip. My only criticism is that in places the itinerary was a bit too full-on, meaning that some elements were a bit blink-and-you-miss-it. For example Lake Sevan was listed as a highlight of one day but we only caught a glimpse through the window as we drove past. Cutting a couple of elements would allow greater focus on the rest. Other than that, a brilliant trip!
