We had a fantastic trip hiking in the Caucusus with Alex as the leader. Our group spanned a wide range of ages and experience levels but there was always an accommodation of different intensities of activity. I feel the amount we learned about Georgia in a small space of time was really helped by Alex as well as pointing us in the right direction with our onward travels. Although not always simple in Georgia, care and pre planning was taken to ensure dietary requirements were catered to as much as possible and this is much appreciated. Overall a great holiday and we look forward to another trip of this kind in the future.

This was a really interesting and challenging tour led by an excellent guide. The tour gives you an opportunity to explore a remote area in Georgia and feel as if you have stepped back in time. The accommodation is comfortable and the food provided is local, fresh and plentiful. Our guide, Alex, shared his love of his country and ensured we experienced a different type of walk each day so we saw the best of Georgia throughout our stay. A great tour to a beautiful part of the world.

This trip exceeded all expectations. The scenery was breathtaking, the group really nice and the tour leader (Alex) extremely knowledgeable. The hiking is challenging, but do-able. I was often towards the back, but at no point felt rushed to go faster than I could manage. I highly recommend a trip to the Svaneti region and the Caucasus Mountains.

The mountains are stunningly beautiful in early spring, with numerous wild flowers in the meadows and snow on the peaks. Batumi is a surprisingly interesting city, worth staying an extra day before or after the tour to fully explore

I had personally nicknamed this trip "Journey into the Unknown" because I knew absolutely nothing about Georgia before joining. This adventure was a complete success in every respect. The landscapes were magnificent, the organisation was excellent, our driver was highly professional, and our guide was outstanding throughout the trip. The hospitality, the food and the atmosphere within the group all contributed to making this an unforgettable experience.
