Czech Republic Walking Tour Reviews

Honest insights from past guests on our Walking Czech Republic tours

The trip provided me with a great introduction to the Baltics. The tour guides were great and made me feel like an individual rather than just another number, tailoring the information provided to my interests as well as being knowledgeable about the countries, towns and attractions visited.

The trip was very good and very enjoyable. Everything seemed to be organised very well. Its was my 2nd trip with Europamundo and it seemed fantastic. Our tour guide Javier is an amazing human. He gave us all the necessary information we needed to navigate through the places. Javier deserves to be taken care of as a tour guide. I wish Europamundo and Javier all the very best.

I love this route Covered majority of my dream cities and landmarks to visit. I compared Vibrant Europe with other tours of Europamundo and other agencies and this really stood out. It didn’t just focus on major cities but also covered charming villages that are hard to visit on your own. Loved the fact that we visited a lot in Switzerland and Italy. It’s packed with activities, never a dull moment but I love how you can still do your own thing because of the free time given especially in Paris. It’s a balance of convenience with a group tour and a knowledgeable guide, plus some control on where to eat and what to do in the city or town. Our guides are approachable and they know what they are doing. We loved Isolda, Sofia, and Raimundo the most Some hotels are very very far from the city center though. Some hotels are hard to reach by train, only choice is an expensive Uber ride that’s why we did not want to be left in the center even though we wanted to explore more at night. The location of hotels in Lyon, Paris, and Zurich are okay though. Perhaps guides generally can improve on the storytelling about history and notable landmarks to enrich our experience, regardless of how many people we are in the tour. Overall, it was an unforgettable multi-country tour and wouldn’t have done it any other way.

Variety of towns visited was fantastic However communication regarding meeting times was extremely bad with some guides causing major confusion anger amongst those on the bus especially with the changeover of the MULTIPLE guides we had. While I understand schedules need to be met alot of non-english speaking passengers found it hard to understand the different accents even english speaking passengers had issues too especially when having spanish speaking guides giving information in both languages. Also leaving passengers to find their own way back to hotels was dangerous some fellow passengers were involved with thefts attempted muggings The company should have a duty of care for all passengers safe return to hotels each day unless they choose to stay out after the daily activities

First of all, Europamundo has the best tour guides. They are super nice and knowledgeable. Some have difficulty speaking in English but it still works out. I also liked how we were able to visit many places but we felt like it was quite rushed. Our Switzerland itinerary was a bit of a waste as well since we used up the entire morning to try to get to ride the cable car but in the end it was replaced by waterfalls which I think is too different in terms of price and experience so that was disappointing.

Regarding the above matter I would like thank an elderly local guide in Lisbon by the name of Annabella. When I was injured during the trip in Lisbon. She personally accompanied me to search for medical help, walking in the drizzling rain and asking people . Finally without any choice she took me to the private hospital. All the while with me from registration to meeting the doctor , talking and explaining in the local language. After several hours at the hospital she then took me by cab to the hotel before she left. She is a kind soul and many others would not have done that. Even the main guide just left even after I told my problem , only she took the initiative to help me although SHE WAS not MY DESIGNATED GUIDE and her work time was over. I wish Europamundo will thank her for me.
