This was one of the best trips I have been on in years. I was pleasantly surprised at how kind the Chinese people were. Our guide was absolutely fantastic, and probably one of the most knowledgeable I’ve ever had! Nothing was ever too big or too small for him and he’d always recommend additional activities in our spare time. China is like no other Southeast Asia country, and its vast development is fascinating! You get to see the modern day, China, as well as the old historic sites. If you enjoy your food, you will not be disappointed by the options on this trip what makes it even better if you only pay about 6 pounds for a huge dinner!!

I recently had the pleasure of touring Beijing with an amazing guide Steven and driver, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Our family had a great 15-day customized China tour experience with this tour company! Several months before our trip, I contacted the company and Thalia was our very responsive and helpful travel agent. She helped us plan an interesting itinerary with a variety of different activities that exposed us to the ancient history, vibrant culture, and beautiful outdoor landscapes of China. The English-speaking travel guides in each city we visited had warm, friendly personalities and shared great insights with us about life in China. They guided us on memorable visits to the water towns surrounding Shanghai, and to Xian, Guilin, and the beautiful countryside of Yangshuo. The company took care of all our travel arrangements including wonderful and well-situated hotels, private mini-van with driver, and train/airport transfers. These arrangements were very reassuring as this was our family's first trip to China. For all the activities, care, and excellent customer service we received from the company, we felt the overall cost of our family's customized tour was reasonable and well worth it! We would not hesitate to use this company again!

Fabulous & remarkable trip! Jansen went above & beyond with his customer service & taking care of everyone’s special needs and requests. The itinerary was fantastic and the guides were marvelous. Dianna also did a great job and was very accommodating.
My only critique is that we should have been provided more information on the difficulties with using credit cards and ATM’s in China and the prevalent use of cash only. I have traveled to 55 countries & never had difficulty using credit cards & ATM’s until China. Most places wouldn’t take US Visa or Mastercard & ATM’s wouldn’t give me Chinses yen

Walking on the Great Wall far exceeded my expectations. The photos in magazines do not compare to the magnitude of actually seeing the Wall in person as it extends for hundreds of miles in many directions spanning numerous ridges. It is an engineering marvel. My guide, Olly was outstanding. His knowledge, sense of humor and overall company contributed to my excellent experience on this trip. If you decide to walk the Great Wall of China, you will not be disappointed.

This tour was great - included the two things we really wanted to see (the terracotta army and the Hanyangling Museum) and we also got a great lunch and a visit to a local farmer's "cave house" which was an interesting insight into how people live outside the big cities.
Michael is a great guide, he speaks very good English and is very knowledgeable about the history and background of the archeological sites. The car was very comfortable with a good driver and plenty of water available. All in all an excellent tour, I highly recommend this if you're visiting Xi'an - you'll have a great time!
