We really enjoyed the trip. The three Baltic countries are very interesting and scenic. The cycling was generally very flat and easy and we had an excellent group and tour leader.
Relaxed cycling and 3 wonderful old towns.
The Treasures of the Baltic Cycle Tour was a wonderful experience overall. The accommodations were of good quality and the food of the breakfasts and tour covered meals was also very good. The opportunity to see and experience a portion of all three Baltic states by a combination of cycle and comfortable bus transport with a great group of people made for an interesting and enjoyable trip. Our guide Lina and driver/cycle handler were excellent in their knowledge and ability to keep us on track and well informed of the plan day by day. When the cycling was interrupted by a lot of rain, Lina was adept at organizing other activities to offer the group. I can recommend this cycling tour without reservation.
This wonderful bike tour of the Baltic states exceeded our expectations. Our multilingual Lithuanian guide Romas was the real treasure of the trip making each journey come alive with storytelling and historical insights. He also kept a close eye on how each member of the group was travelling and enjoying the cycling. We opted for guided rather than self guided in the end as it made sense to enjoy the experience with a guide who had in-depth knowledge. The self guided and guided groups would always reunite at the mini bus meeting point to load up the bikes and drive to a new destination together. We were also lucky to have a great group of like minded active travel types from all over the world (Romania, America, Kenya, Germany) who were great company and fun to share the experience with. It was the right mix of cycling and driving for us, as we got to see the best bits of the Baltics without having to put in weeks of extra cycling kilometres to cover all three Baltic states. One of the many highlights was cycling around the beautiful Estonian Saaremaa island. We returned to adjacent Muhu island after the tour had finished and spent another 5 days there cycling and exploring ancestral roots and being ensconced by Muhu’s ancient villages and beauty.
Amazing tour through the Baltic States. Ramos was fabulous and we learned so much about the area. Plus it was just FUN!
Superb leader - Lina - very knowledgable, flexible. Relatively flat cycling. The three capitals are each fascinating, along with the history of each country. Hotels perfectly fine.
3 beautiful countries. Loads of history. Passionate and knowledgeable guide
A reasonably-priced introduction to three countries, recognizing both their similarities and differences.
