We liked all hotels except Travelodge which was under par.

The tour was a great way to see all that New Zealand has to offer. The tour director & driver were very good. Most accommodation was of good quality with the exception of the Travelodge in Wellington. AATKings should rethink that hotel. Some of the one-night versus two-night choices were not great. For example one night in beautiful Dunedin but two nights in Invercargill which has far less to offer

The Distinction Heritage Gateway Hotel wasn't very good. The rooms smelled bad. The doors were flimsy and the locks were pointless. As a woman traveling alone, I felt unsafe. The food was good. The Travelodge Wellington as awful. There was a tear in the carpet in my room, the floor of my shower was disgusting and the elevators were horrible to use. The food was the worst of anywhere we stayed.
