So well organized. Great staff representing GAdventures. One of my best vacations.
Galapagos was amazing and the vacation flew by. I saw amazing birds and marine creatures. I learnt more about the country, their peoples and enjoyed the terrain. I know there were fellow travellers who became unwell and registered complaints. We consulted and followed the directions from our travel doctors. We arrived premedicated to a new and different country. I brought over the counter medications because a new setting, different food and preparation can cause GI upset. We were prepared. for the altitude and environment. These travel suggestions were included in our pre trip instructions.
This adventure except for the misfortune of the stomach issues rates as one of the top five of my life.
G Adventures has it all: organized itinerary, adventurous activities, wonderful staff, and excellent lodging and meals. Truly the trip of a lifetime in the Galapagos. We ventured to uninhabited islands and saw hundreds of wildlife species, all in 5 days!
A great trip with an enthusiastic and experienced guide. The crew on the boat were fantastic and looked after us well. The many moving parts of the transportation to and from the yacht were handled seamlessly.
CEO Raul was excellent; knowledgeable and great sense of humor. I appreciated that the group was of different ages and from various countries but considered all as good friends at end of trip. The crew of the Eden was very helpful, and the communal buffet-style meals were a great opportunity to visit.
Book it. Book this trip! Exploring the Galapagos on boat with an amazing guide, Raul, was one of the best trips I?ve ever been on. There are snorkeling and trekking activities everyday (with a designated nap in between). We saw so much wildlife and to have such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide to navigate us through the experience was incredible. Bring some sea sick tablets or patches if you get queasy. There were a few voyages that were rough, but overall I?m glad we could experience Galapagos by the Eden. To wake up every morning at a new island was wonderful. I can?t recommend this trip enough!
Overall, it was a dream vacation. The Galapagos are a very special place and I feel so fortunate to have experienced some of it. I also enjoyed the optional city tour of Quito and especially the trip to the equator museum. The only unfortunate part was the last day in the Galapagos which left a bitter taste from what had otherwise been an incredible experience. It did not need to be such an ordeal to return to Quito.
