Romania City sightseeing Trips

I wish Goran were my Travel Director for every organized tour. Goran’s professionalism is second to none. He is exceptionally experienced and possesses extensive knowledge of both the Balkan region and travel in general. Throughout this long journey, he did everything one would expect from a travel director — and more. He consistently communicated activities clearly, both verbally and in writing, and thoughtfully reminded tour members of important details at every stop. Goran’s knowledge and personal stories about the Balkans made this trip truly unforgettable. We even nicknamed him “Prof. G.” Prof. G provided insightful background information — through both his talks and carefully selected, relatively neutral documentaries — for each country we visited. His explanations of the region’s complex history brought clarity and context to much of what we later saw and heard from the local specialists. Goran is also an incredibly caring person. I truly believe he went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable experience.

It was a wonderful trip. Glad we went. The people on the tour were fun to travel with and the tour guide was great. Be prepared to spend extra money because there were several optional excursions, that seemed to be overpriced.

Great trip that visited 7 countries. All the hotels were nice and a couple were exceptional. Our guide was full of information and kept us informed about our daily schedule. There were some long travel days but it wasn’t a problem. The WhatsApp was used for daily communication and photo sharing. I thought the optional dinners were overpriced and local singers/dancers should have been included activities. It was a wonderful tour and I highly recommend it!

This inaugural trip was amazing. Romania, Transylvania, and Hungary delivered on every front: history, culture, scenery, food, friendly people, and great hotels. Danilo, our Travel Director, was outstanding, accommodating, and helpful. Tibor, our coach driver, was very skilled, friendly, and helpful. Thank you for finally adding an extended trip to Romania. I have been waiting for several years to see this beautiful and charming country.

It was a fascinating tour and the pace was more relaxed than my previous tours. If you take this tour, I advise you to prepare for some uphill walking. If you choose this trip, you're in for some wonderful food and very interesting history lessons... not to mention beautiful views and friendly people.

Had a wonderful time during the trip as Trafalgar ensured that we were well taken care of and handled everything smoothly. The trip was well paced and we have ample free time to ourselves. Their Make Travel Matter and Be My Guest were amazing experiences. Their Travel Director, driver and local specialists were also very knowledgeable and friendly, making the travel experience even more enjoyable.
