Romania Tours and Trips for Seniors

Being part of a small group with similar levels of fitness and backgrounds was very enjoyable. The tour guide Smaranda and bus driver Adrian were very competent and helpful. The Mercedes minibus was very comfortable. The scenery, especially the Carpathian Mountains was impressive. Visiting Saxon villages and churches was the highlight of the tour.

This is an interesting itinerary, visiting so many different nations. They are all similar, yet each has a unique feel. There is a lot of bus travel and the first half of the tour feels a bit rushed, but it slows down during the second half. It is perfect if you want a quick taste of several countries. The trip would be ideal if it were perhaps two days longer adding an extra night in Bulgaria and Albania. The one night stays during the first half of the trip give it that rushed feel. In the end, we enjoyed this tour of the Balkins. Dubrovnic, Croatia and the Montenegro coast were wonderful. The family dinner in Bosnia and at the Croatia olive farm were unforgetable highlights. So many interesting and beautiful churches and castles seen in contrast to the brutalist communist era buildings. So much history in this region. If you enjoy history and want to see places that are not your typical tourist destinations, this is the trip for you.

The first Blue-Roads tour we have done and we were not disappointed. Small group, wonderful guide and bus driver and all activities were timed well and suitable for the age group. A couple of people had different mobility problems but the guide accomodate their needs with ease. Guide was knowledgeable and approachable at all times and was extremely passionate about Romania

This is an ambitious and enriching tour itinerary, including wonderful historic sites, religious locations, interesting local experts, and up-close-and-personal experiences with local folks. It gave me a chance to see, in person, places and things I'd only previously heard about on the evening news. My suggestion: GO!

Hi Sorry for the late reponse anyway here are my comments/suggestion about my recent BALKAN TRIP. 1. I enjoy the trip because I was really planning this trip for a long time . I enjoy visiting this places with historical value like Poland, East Germany, Rome , Israel and the recent one the Balkan. During this trip I was able talk with the people in that country about their way of life during those horrible years and today, architecture and their Government. 2. Food . Since this is the first time to taste their local cuisine. I was amazed with their big servings, in general I enjoy the food. 3. Hotel. our hotels were fantastic their staff were accommodating, kind such as the Radisson group Tour Director & Driver. both of them were very good. They make sure that the members of the tour group are comfortable on their trip , accommodation and find ways to attend to our request and concerns. They are properly dress and always smiling 4. Suggestion . Maybe your company can find ways to shorten the road trip sorry I can't send pictures of my trip , I have not down load them

Very well organised tour with a wonderful tour director who we’re sure has a great deal to do with the smooth running of everything. Lots of very interesting places to visit and experience that would be very difficult to do outside of a tour.
