This 10-day journey takes you to the misty mountain habitat of the endangered gorilla and through some of Uganda’s most remarkable parks, rich with wildlife. Track gorillas, observe animals on game drives and boat safaris, join a guided walking safari, and experience the wild from different perspectives.

day 1 - Arrival at Entebbe Airport. Transfer to the hotel.

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a Home to Africa–assigned English-speaking professional tour driver-guide will welcome you to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. You will then transfer to your booked accommodation, check in, and take some time to rest—recovering from jet lag and adjusting to the time difference.

Optional (at extra cost): If you arrive early and are interested in an activity, you may consider:

a) an excursion to the Entebbe Botanical Gardens to see a variety of primates and birds, or

b) an excursion to Mabamba Wetland in search of the prehistoric shoebill stork.

Otherwise, simply check in and enjoy your rest.

day 2 - Travel to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Proceed to Murchison NP

After breakfast, we will transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary—a successful conservation initiative established to save Uganda’s rhino population from near extinction. Thanks to this effort, visitors now have the rare opportunity to encounter rhinos in their natural habitat. Upon arrival, we will enjoy an hour of on-foot rhino tracking.

From Ziwa, we continue to Masindi for a lunch stop. Afterward, we embark on the final leg of our journey to Murchison Falls National Park, where we will spend the night at the booked accommodation.

Optional: You may choose to do a game drive before heading to the lodge. Alternatively, we can proceed directly to the accommodation, check in, and relax at leisure.
