This was an excellent Safari. The Tour was as described for style and is not for the faint hearted. We observed all of the animals and birdlife you could wish for. This was a real adventure and both my Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The itinery could do with an update although in the grand scheme of things would not have made much difference.

Excellent opportunity to get a feel for Southern Africa, as well as see large numbers of animals in their natural element. Victoria Falls was worth the 50 USD entry price. This is NOT a luxury tour! It is camping and cooking meals by the side of the road.

I left a review when I was in Broome staying a couple of extra nights at Cable Beach Resort.. they did have internet problems so maybe that is why my review has not been received??? The whole trip exceeded my expectations… I was sceptical about going on a bus trip again after one I did in Canada with Evergreen. I chose AAT Kings because they have been doing these tours for years! I couldn’t fault anything & would & have always highly recommend AAT Kings Nellie & Terry were fabulous & Nellies knowledge of the area is astounding!..They made the experience really enjoyable… Nellie helped me with another plane trip that I added while in Broome & I’m so glad I spoke to her about it as it was incredible.

I missed the Abba museum. One member of the tour went. It would have been good to have been reminded when I could have gone. More details outside of paid extras would not have stopped me paying for extras but it would have made the trip better.

The Dordogne trip was outstanding - beautiful scenery, quaint and comfortable hotels, excellent food and days longs enough to feel the benefit of walking but not so long to make you too exhausted to enjoy arriving. Added bonus was our ability to enjoy a “coupe” everywhere we landed.

The Luberon mountains & associated hilltop towns are stunning, yet rugged. The the people are friendly, the food & wine wonderful. We enjoyed our week hiking here though felt the difficulty of the trip was mislabeled on the website. We felt it should be moderate, with some days quite difficult. We enjoyed the hiking, just found it more challenging than advertised. The terrain there is extremely rocky. Many trails were laid with large loose rock which was a bit treacherous when the trail was steep, which it sometimes was. Sticks are a must. We have done numerous inn-to inn hikes previously so are not novices. Our late in the season trip offered few crowds, nice temps, some nice foliage, but somewhat of a dearth of restaurants for dinner. What restaurants were open were wonderful. I would recommend the trip. The logistics (luggage transfer) and pre-trip support were excellent. The scenery amazing.

This travel specialist might be a good operator for other destinations but it was definitely not good for Africa overland. Just imagine, you are traveling in Africa which can get really hot. There is no fridge or freezer in the truck so there is no way you can keep the food in a safe way in the truck. All other operators have at least a fridge (oven both fridge and freezer) in their trucks. Information from the crew was not of a good quality, notice board was not updated, most of the time information was given in small groups when all participants were not present which causes frustration. Crew was not as active or participant as it should be, you as traveler have to work lot more than it should be. During our long trip, there was a diesel leakage from the tank which contributed that all of our food had both a smell and taste of diesel. It was not fixed until the end of the tour. Money spend on food was insufficient, in the beginning of tour there was not much to buy which operators should be aware of and since there was no cold storage on the truck, there were only few vegetables available to buy and meat quality was bad before arriving at Botswana-Namibia. I met another tour operator and visited their truck on the road. It was just one crew member on that truck (we had two) and he not only kept the truck very clean all the time he was even making food for the participants. Our crew did not make any food and did not keep the truck clean, it was up to us to do that. If you are looking for a life-time adventure in Africa, may be it will be a good idea to pay bit more and choose an operator who is more active and responsible.

I had a wonderful time on the Italian Discovery tour. The itinerary was well-thought-out, covering all the must-see locations. Giulia, our guide, was excellent, providing insightful commentary and always willing to answer questions. The hotels were comfortable, especially in Rome. Thanks to the entire team for an amazing trip!

This is the best company in Egypt for tours and day trips. We visited with them (separate day trips) Cairo, Alexandria and Luxor. In Cairo, we took the long day trip on their website (visit of Giza and entrance into the Great Pyramid (inside), quad ride, Dahshur and Saqqarah pyramids, Memphis and a felucca ride. We even stopped at the papyrus museum and a parfumerie. Ahmed, our guide, was the most interesting and competent guide we ever had (and we travel a lot). In Alexandria, we had an amazing day trip (picked up from Cairo), we visited the catacombs, a mosque, the library, etc. Amazing day trip! And finally, in Luxor, we visited the Valley of the Kings, Luxor Temple, Memnon colossus, Hatchepsout temple and Karnak temple, all in one day. The food at the Paris restaurant was amazing, but the best and most amazing part was our guide, Omar Ahmed, who was incredible. Amazing experience!
