The hotel in Barcelona, Frontair Congress, was a very bad hotel. Hotel staff were rude. The room was dirty. The hotel in Lyon, Campanille, was also dirty and small. The breakfast was bad. Basic spoon, fork and plate were not available. As for the guides, we were very happy with Abdel, Spain guide, and Diego Bueno, our Interlaken, Grindelwald and Lucerne guide. Both of them were empathetic on our needs. Their English was good. We understood them the entire time. Angeles, our guide in France, was nice but we barely understood her English. Over-all, we were very happy with the Novotel hotels we stayed in, both in Madrid and Paris.

Hotel in Rome was not good,room was good but the service was hopeless.when asked for a blanket they said they will send but after an hour still no one showed up and when we called second time they just cut the phone.it is not worth to say 4 star at all. The tour was incredible. There were times we drove more than toured areas so that was a little bit of a bummer but the countries were very spread out so I understand. Only thing was the BMW Welt was a little boring and would have been more fun taking a tour of the olympia park and learned more about the Munich massacre but we got to walk down to it on our own.
